If Ford did sell Volvo (i doubt it) it would have to be alot more than what they sold Jag and Range Rover. Plus TATA has alot to deal with Jag and Range Rover, i think TATA will have their hands full for awhile.
Yes, I'm well aware of who Volvo cars are owned by. In my personal opinon, I think it may go down hill from there. With knowing Geely has had very bad crash test ratings.
Supposedly, Geely is leaving the Volvo executives alone for the most part; allowing them to make their own decisions. All Geely is doing is managing the Volvo China sales, and giving Volvo Cars a quota to meet.
If this is true, it means we are effectively back to Volvo being Volvo, without the direct intervention of anyone. Cough Ford Cough.

Still have our 1991 740 Turbo! As well as the 2009 V70, its just not the same as the 740 though.

Yes true, TATA has come a long way recently. And knowing Ford is still family owned, Volvo is in good hands for now.
