  • Aw man! Freakin sweet! Every last one of these is a work of art. The only problem is my 5 year old son thinks you can just stroll down to the store and buy these. Looks like it's DIY time. Still these are timeless classics, and the song you used aint bad either.

  • @TheSailorScorpio I keep meaning to put up some "how to" videos, but daytime work and the babies have been keeping me too busy. I'll make sure I let you know when I get another video up. I remember being a kid and hating the neon junk we used to have to play with, so I know where your boy is coming from! Thanks, from one family man to another!!!

  • @technomancerreplicas Well said my friend! He already asks why most of those guns down the isles don't look like the guns in games and on TV. These kids are something else, huh? Looking forward to anything else you post!

  • Dude, these are amazing! You have to make a SteamPunk costume, for instance; Goggles, FaceMask, Overcoat and such, You must go to a convention sometime.

Overall great replication, and amazing quality paint and detail.

  • @ThisIsRealCollab Thanks for your kind words! I've toyed around with a few costumes, but I haven't really made a full set yet. Maybe I'll do something elaborate for DragonCon this year.... Please check out some of my other videos!

  • @technomancerreplicas Will do! *Subscribes*

  • These are truly incredible. Keep up the good work.

  • @xxvampirekingxx Thanks man, I've been meaning to post another video soon, I have about twice as many guns built now.

  • Dragon con eh, are you going this year

  • Dude, nice work have you ever taken any of these to a steampunk convention? Also is the caliber 10 base a double barel nerf gun?

  • @internalfire96 it was an over-under double barreled shotgun toy gun from walmart. I used a cheap metal sword hilt for the handle. Then some random candle parts for the barrels.

  • @internalfire96 I am yet to take anything to a true steampunk convention, but I have brought some stuff to DragonCon in the ATL. I have around 10-12 guns now and 7 miniatures (watch my other video to see them).

  • always lamp parts. always lamp parts.

  • @Arbiter091 So true! Thanks for the view!

  • I was wondering if there's a real good way to replicate the look of old shotgun iron for the shell housing area. I've ued the silvering before for more up to date gun replicas but I need to get the iron look right first time. Any ideas as you really seem to know what your doing here? Thanks.

  • @kezadrone First I would softly weather your surfaces with a fine grit sand paper, spray paint it all with a flat black, and dry brush the gun with a bronze over some of the gun, then dry brush the entire gun with a dark gun metal but still let the black and bronze show through, then dry brush the edges and high points of the gun with a bright silver, then seal the gun with a flat clear coat.

  • @technomancerreplicas Thankyou very much indeed. A lot of folk would not bother replying. Thanks again. Great advice. And I hope you make money out of what you do. Because God knows, You should. All the best.

  • Thank you for the view(s) and the words of encouragement!!!

  • im using a nerf vulcan as my bace for a gun im makin now but i wanna use/make small clear tubes and stuff filled with coloured liquid got any ideas for the tubes?

  • @thomasmclake are you looking for flexible tubes? If so I would suggest using clear pnematic tubing (you can find it at your local hardware store, or home depot/lowes). Short lengths will be pretty rigid and not bend alot and are easy to cut and form to your liking. If you want hard tubes, I would suggest hitting up some antique malls or stores to try and get your hands on some cathod ray tubes!!! Try using glowstick gel for your fluid! Avoid anything edible,

  • nice song what is it called

  • lol i mite try makeing some of thees in sl....more of a cyberpunk, but people like Nicola Tesla got me some-what into steampunk :)

  • Pretty awesome props you got there. :)

  • Feel free to keep the construction questions coming! All of these props have been built out of random materials everyone has lying around their house. I'm going to post some "how to" videos eventually... but until then, everyone go check out our webisode "Someone Else's Present"
