beautiful.....just stunning...im goin to auburn, indiana on my vacation to look at the duesenberg museum...and wonder why oh why these beatiful cars are never made anymore....
I owned one of these kit cars from a business deal for a few years in Wyoming. Man it turned heads every where I went. It was the most fun I ever had driving. It was a 'death trap' but I just drove it around town and never over 40 MPH.
Eventually a car dealer bought it from me to drive in the annual Rodeo parade as I was moving out of state. It was fun. kctruby.com
To think how foolish we are when we're young! At 28 years old and single, I had a chance of buying an "already" professionally assembled Kit of this auburn that a local Acura/ford dealer was promoting. It had the lincoln 460 motor in it and was robin's egg blue with a white leather interior. It was too "girlish" for me, I wanted red. He told me a black & a red one were coming in 4 weeks. Being impatient I went out and bought a corvette instead (which I crashed 3 years later)

This is not a speedster. It is a replica.

@topgunwonderfull
I thought the same thing.
The original speedsters only had those pipes on one side (only on the right side if I remember correctly)
Many don't realise that when they make a replica >_>

@tuber23504 if u think thats bad, we had a consumer come into our shop one day with a 36 auburn, and it had the Ford 351 engine in it.

no way is a replica auburn worth that much. Nice body. Would have looked better under the hood with a straight 8 or even a straight 6. .
