Well they didn't ruin it, they used the poetry to sing it in a sufi rock genre! Yes the original meaning of the poetry might be lost in the song and the video might not portray the literal meaning of the song but commercial music has always been sung this way!
As far as poetry is concenered its a master piece which will stay with us for centuries to come.
please stop experimenting with ALLAMA IQBAL's poetry...................it is horrible ......................ager un k kalam ko samajh jae insaan tou ye harkatain karte hue sochey ga zaroor......................un ka kalam likhne ka maqsad ye nai tha k deewanon ki tarah baal khol kar ese nacha jae k jaeise guitar mai current a gaya ho..................allah maaf kare
@saadialrashid i am not commenting on music.... producing music doesn't mean to use such a great piece of poetry and ruin it ..... the way they produced it is simply pathetic no one can retrieve the message from this which the poet wanted go give..... if their concern is only music then they can sing any other thing.... that type of poetry should not be treated like that................... that's my opinion and i have freedom of expression
@ahlajoham These guys have introduced me and made me interested in reading more of Allama Iqbal and Baba Bhulle Shah. The original meaning is only emphasized and made even more tempting to know more about by their music. Wish we were more like Allama Iqbal and Baba Bhulle Shah: open-minded!
