  • hola ¿conque software se hizo este vídeo? es que quería ponerlo en español porque casi no hay

¿Se puede utilizar la musica de fondo para crear otro?

  • I like how it says "it works right out of the box." Not Lexmark though.

  • What is the song's name?

  • U forgot to say it's free

  • If only I would one day see this commercial on cable TV as an advertisement... That would be quite an accomplishment if that happened.

  • Ended kinda abruptly didn't it?

  • Use Ubuntu if you believe fast and effective computing is for everyone.

  • @thecrazyguy129 you must be new here.

  • these videos should be in the examples folder of Ubuntu

  • 11.10 is OUT !!!!!!!!

  • 8 people suck Tim Cook's balls at night....

  • @swapniltech umm... cooking balls? i don't give a shit anymore.

  • I love Ubuntu, but i hate this music! :D

  • Hi man!

What's the software you used for make this video?

is same one free software? Who is?

  • @jeffersonnmoreiraaa: I'm not sure for this video, as it was done a while ago. The current "What's New in Ubuntu 11.04" (which went live at about the same time as your question) was done in PiTiVi. I believe Iain Farrell is intending to put the source code for that, to help with the translations/localisations. Is that useful?

  • @celebrateubuntu Only pitivi cant do this type of video.

  • When I can finally install itunes, use microsoft office, pro tools and Adobe suite on it, and install some games to pass the time (World of Warcraft, Mass Effect, etc), I will consider installing Ubuntu.

Don't get me wrong, I love the tech and philosophy, but I simply have no use for it.

  • @faviobeckerweb A lot of games already work in wine (including WoW with 100% support), there's extremely good alternatives to MS Office (LibreOffice, for instance) and a few alternative programs for some Adobe applications (such as GIMP). I really dislike Adobe though...

  • One thing about windows i hate is that unknown processes are running because my HDD light blinks like if its having a seizure, Ubuntu cares for my HDD <3

  • ubuntu is verry fast because you don't need to have a virus protector.

On windows it took my old laptop half a minute to load windows, now with Ubuntu it only takes a few seconds:)

  • Was that Sintel playing at the end?

  • @TheSmoothCriminal Yes, the video playing between 02:3602:45 is the open movie project's Sintel. You can view, download or buy the whole short film and "making of…" (and get the source materials) at sintel.org ; Sintel was created using the Blender 3D software, which you can also find in the Ubuntu Software Centre by searching for "Blender".

  • Everybody wants to know what software you used to make this video!

  • What program did they use to make that vid? I supose they made it in Ubuntu, so... what software?

  • as it is called the song's video?? and software that is made! .... is very well done: D

  • Was this video made with Ubuntu Studio?!

  • What software is used to make these animations?

  • pause 0:34 and it is 10.10 Maverick Unity.

  • Too long, too boring, too slow...

  • @makpolska too slow? your pc is slow -.-

  • @makpolska oh do you mean the video, sorry

  • @makpolska

    Agree

  • Why is there OpenOffice but Unity in it? Default on Natty is LibreOffice oO

    But great Video :-D

  • @McGrattla Even they use an older version of Firefox (at least I think so, see the stop/reload-buttons)

  • @ladedeinevideoshoch

firefox 4 on ubuntu by default have the same exact look as firefox 3.6

  • @linuxpowerification At least FF 4 should have a merged stop/reload button, shouldn't it?

  • Awesome video but do you know what software was used to make it?

  • Nice Video. Horrible Music. :D

  • @VanElstyr

so true :( that one is decent:

    watch?v=FbP3XoCOFw8

  • It's good to see Canonical is advertising Ubuntu, but it's sad to see that only 313 people have seen this video so far. :-(

  • @ross817

I wouldn't trust the youtube counter, it often borks at about 300

  • @ross817 It's growing though! Tell your friends! :)

  • @ross817 well now they are 22,415!Congrats! :)

  • muy buen vídeo. pero cuidado con los codecs, que se ve pixelado

  • @santiagopereyra1x subilo a 720p

  • There are some nice sounds in the tune, that could be used as a great "light" sound theme!

  • love it
