This just proves how phenomenal Queen is. Their obscure stuff is So far superior to other bands' "hits." And if it hadn't been for the stupid media of that day, All their songs would have had airplay, which would have meant "hits."

They're SO much more than their well-known songs! Queen has depth & variety. They're the most eclectic, most creative, most innovative band ever!

Truly, my favorite Queen song of all time. I was in Berkeley back in '80 when "The Game" came out, and I had previously been ambivalent towards Queen (I hated Bohemian Rhapsody). This album, once and forever, made me a fan. And this song, especially, captures Queen at their absolute best! Its shocking to me that it wasn't one of their big hits!

Freddy was a weird duck but his musical talent was off the charts. This song is an example of PURE talent that is few and far between in today's music.

Freddie wasn't nearly as weird as one might think actually.....I just read a book about him. The overwhelming consensus is that he was the sweetest, nicest, most decent guy! And so down to Earth, humble, very loving, & extremely generous! That's what was the general feeling from everyone interviewed.

Another surprise was that he was so "normal" and nice, sensitive, shy, and just a really great guy. Oh, and very funny!!

The only thing that contradicts all of that is the way he performed onstage, which is mainly because he gave the audience exactly what they wanted! Queen has stated for years that they never made money off of their shows because they put so much money into them!

i dont know why this song wasnt a huge hit, it beats so many of their more famous songs, i much prefer this to say, we are the champions, i mean its not so classic but i just enjoy listening to it more. its not even on the singstar lol

Yeah, now people in many bands can't write their own songs so someone else is writing songs for them, guitarists can't play more than five chords, singers can't sing...that's called degeneration. Happily there still are some very good bands.

Interesting bit of trivia.......A normal song has 3 chords. Bohemian Rhapsody has SIXTY CHORDS!!!! I find that SO fascinating!! Just amazing how great Freddie was!!! Brian said that even Bicycle Race was a very complex song to play.

A Julliard scholar / composer / conductor dedicated & wrote a show based on Freddie's songs - he found them so intriguing & complicated.

Freddie never ceases to amaze!!!
