I wonder why beautiful and talented Anne Hathaway agreed being in this crappy movie. This film is Kate Hudson's level (typical useless comedy trash) but not Hathaway's. Anne deserves much better films

I was disappointed big time with Hudson and Hathaway.

the jokes were lame, the script was stupid,

and the ending??????? COME ON!

they both randomly get pregnant due the same day!

I really liked the movie it wasn't there best movie but, it wasn't the worse. I mean Kate Hudensons best movie was defintaly ether You, Me and Dupree or Raising Helen. And Anne Hathaways best movie by far was Devil Wears Parda and she was good in Get Smart too with steve corell. I haven't seen Rachel getting married which Anne Hathaway did around the same time as bride wars. I really want to see it though. I will give this movie a 8.5.

yea i agree. this movie seems to be more of a comedy than a chick flick. beyond the trailer should have really asked more than just one guy about his opinion on the movie.

I'm one of those rare girls that hate "girly" type movies, so I don't really think this would be my type of film. I do really like Hathaway (even though I've never really seen her in anything I really liked) & I love Hudson but it seems like this is a step down for her.

As for my wedding, again, I am rare that if I ever do get married I don't want it to be a big thing at all. The most I would want would be a very private wedding with just our families, 20 people at most.

Girls who dislike girly movies aren't that rare. Not a majority, but definitely not an endangered species. :) I don't particularly like them myself.

Comedies, action, mystery, animated, classics, period films (which I guess could be considered girly). I really enjoy British stuff like you can get on Masterpiece Theatre. Comedy would probably be my favorite, though. I'll see pretty much anything but sappy romance (I hate movies that make you cry) & horror (the gore type, not the spooky ghost kind, that, I like).

firstly how can u say you dont really like some1 if u havnt even seen their movie Anne Hathaway is a great actress and is really good at what she does and its not really a girly type of movie at all its more a comedy

Based on this and some other reviews I've watched and read, I think the movie should be fairly enjoyable but nothing worth traipsing out into the snow for, so I'll probably just wait until it comes out on DVD or starts playing on HBO.

I don't know how to stop a Bridal War. The premise for the movie is a little ridiculous as most are.

I think the general complaint in some other reviews was the lack of male involvement and the general belittling of women, but apparently there's a nice dress :)
