just a few things: how do you draw the shadows on paper? if i try i just split her head in 2 parts ;p

Yeah, I'd love to see it. Send it as a video response.

If your using colored pencils color it in normally and then go over the spots again for the shading. But don't make it too dark. Just keep lightly coloring it over and over until it looks right. ^-^

No, I drew this with Manga Studio.

I made the lines by using the curve tool and messing with the curve until it looks straight. You could also try the line tool.

Okay, my secret with coloring.... *drum roll* .... there isn't one!!! XD I just colored the picture one solid color with no shading. Then I go over it again in shading. I actually shade in random places.(Hint: The more shading the better it looks.) Well... I think others would disagree with that.

Wow that was great!! I draw Katara compleatly differently, I'll try your techniques. Useualy I take other people's teqniques and combin them.
