  • Sounds like a funky soundtrack to an unfinished John Carpenter film from back in the day..

Reminded me of what Tim Simenon / Bomb The Bass referenced (re: Carpenter's sound) with 'Megablast', but yours didn't sample or crib the notes of an original - you evoked the sound on a wholly organic way, IMHO. Very cool.

  • @intonare Well it must have been organic because I've never seen a John Carpenter film nor listened to Timeon or Bomb the Bass. Thanks for the compliment though. I'm glad you enjoyed the music. :)

  • awesome video man,

  • @1787dude Thanks! I'm happy you liked it.

  • @ratface1987 ya you rocked it man. I can't wait to get a miniak lol.

  • Very cool man! You remind me of Jeff Bujak check him out!

  • You should put this song up on soundcloud.

  • Nice, thumbs up!

  • @maxstatic Thanks!!!

  • :) Nice, ...this is dope. The one dislike is probably someone who still hasn't figured out how to use their Miniak. Good job, bro. Subbed.

  • @blkgnuz2007 Thanks! Yeah, I figure most Dislikes happen in the first 20 seconds with impatient people, lol.

  • awesome man what speakers do you use to output the sound ? and can you hear all the instruments from one speaker or are they seperate ?

  • @francaisemusique En fait, dans cette vidéo, je n'utilise pas de haut-parleur, que des écouteurs. Sorry if you don't speak French like your name implies. I'm not actually running them through any speakers on this one, just headphones. However, depending on the mixer then you could run it so that it's all coming out mono or stereo, with some on the left, some on the right and some in the middle.

  • @ratface1987 merci my friend :) yes i speak both haha :)

  • funky ass riffs I like it!

  • @LatigidGolana Haha, thanks for watching. Glad you liked it.

  • good stuff

the bassline is done with a continuous arpeggiator right? (from 3:30)

  • @s1Mii Yeah, the Miniak has a section where you program in your own arpeggiator sequences. I was messing around with that and liked it so I saved the 8 bar line as an arpeggio and improved on top. Thanks for the watching and commenting!
