    God Bless

  • @AssyrianFood

    Hi

Not sure what fan oven looks like. These cookies are delicate so try to set up temperature not higher than 350F in the begining and later very lowest heat.

  • @kittiecatification

    Hi

    Yes, most of the time....

  • Hi Bhavna, i want to make this cookies but i dont know where to buy molasses. i have some jaggery with me, so could u plz tell me how much jaggery should i use for this recipe? if i use jaggery do i have to use brown sugar too??

i hv tried so many of ur recipes and they came out really great. thank u so much for all the wonderful recipes... tc!!

  • @katjzmin

    Hi

You can dissolve jaggery in water and use. You can leave out brown sugar if you want. For 1 cup flour, use 1/3 cup jaggery.

  • @SuperVeggieDelight today i made this cookies and it came out really good. i used jaggery and a egg so the dough was bit watery and i had to use another 1 1/2 cups of flour to make a proper dough. also the color of the cookies was bit lighter. i think its bcos i use jaggery instead of molasses. anyway i wanted to thank u for this wonderful recipe. god bless u !! tc... :D

  • @katjzmin

    Hi

That's lot of flour that you ended up adding but I am glad to hear that it came out nice. And yes, mollasses is darker than jaggery. Enjoy!

  • @katjzmin

Chill your dough for an hour or two and don't add flour. Scoop out the dough with an ice-cream scoop or cookie scoop and put it in the tray as is.

  • Great snack ! So healthy too because of flax-seed powder. Useful for vegetarians to have these wonderful eggless recipes. Thanks Bhavna for the upload!

  • @ritaturner

    Hi

Yes, flax seeds has same nutritional value as egg. Enjoy!

  • @SuperVeggieDelight Thank you Bhavna. You are good with responses considering the volume of comments here! I have heard that flax seeds are high in omega 3 oils. For vegetarians it is very important since we do not get our quota of omega 3 from fish which is the usual source. Previously eggs were considered high quality nutrition because of high proteins. But these days they are not so recommended. I do not like egg flavor which unfortunately always added to commercial biscuits and cakes.
