In New York City, a place where Dickey Betts had had many great achievements, he played what will possibly become his last touring date on December 12, his 66th birthday.
"Im not retiring from playing. Im sure there will be some great special events that Ill be at in the future. But for now, I look forward to waking up tomorrow with nothing on my schedule."
After more than 40 years of constant touring its time for a well deserved break.
Not a single Junior onstage here. They all look like Standards to me. I'm sitting here right now waiting for FedEx to deliver my 1969 Deluxe reissue! Whippin' Post will be the first song I play on it, then You Don't Love Me. Woo-Hoo!
yea man i was there tht show and i just seen him here at art park again i was in frount row i got video and picks im pputting on rite now anyone want some contack me
just came back from the show.... AWSOME!!! they opened wit this one... n then 4 a closer they did a 35min version of In Memory of Elizabeth Reed... GREAT SHOW!!!!
In memory of elizabeth reed, might be my favorite song ever. I love the breaks and jazzy shit in it. Most other kids my age(20). Don't care to much for The Allman Bros; and or Jazz, funk. Earth wind and Fire are dope too.
they sound like an average garage band on this video or maybe it's just the low quality audio.
