Wait a minute... Either she is a complete genius and can calculate values in her head, or she had the problem done before she explained it.. Why would you "estimate" the value of pi when you can use a calculator and find a much more accurate answer? She said if you want to find the volume of a sphere.. Finding an approximate value is incorrect.. Why couldn't she either say, find an approximate value, or find the volume of a sphere rounding up to 3 decimal places? Damn online courses..

impossible......if you put a cube around the sphere......with the radius times 2 or 9 by 2 or 18. the cube is the same length,width, and height. so picture a cube around the "spear" the "corners" of the sphere will touch the cubes sides. so.... the formula is telling me that a cube 5832 cm3 and a sphere inside of it is 972 cm3 highly illogical...... if there is any probelms with my comment reply... i am only 13 years old---(technicly....i knmow its spelled wrong)

Wow, she looks depressed... This question it was asking was to vague, they said find the volume, but they weren't asking for the volume with pi. It's very simple, 4/3 Pi x R cubed can be altered to 4 x Pi x R cubed divided by 3... If you want the exact volume with Pi multiplied you would get 3053.63 (rounded to tenths place) if you did find the volume without pi it would be 243 x Pi...
