@sheekbandgeek im a bit confused by what you mean, but there are a number of ways and reasons why I came by this song. I enjoy the grizzly bear version, and I recently noticed on the born ruffians' website that they had performed a cover of it. I was curious to hear their rendition. in my opinion, which is merely what i was stating, is that i do not like their version. true it is very born ruffians-esque, but its sloppy on their part and takes away from the beauty of the original.
@johnnyfest we will obviously never have the same opinion except that we agree that the grizzley bear version is better. i accept that you don't like this cover and i don't feel the need to agrue and try to make you like it.
@FEZZARONNI fleet foxes are not better than grizzly bear. I love born ruffians, red, yellow and blue was an amazing album, but there's no way this cover is better than the original. Grizzly bear holds a warmer sound and better tempo, not to mention better vocals AND IT'S THEIR SONG! lol
