  • I have to say, once i get to college, im really hoping to have an excellent professor, but i really don't want someone with an accent. But if they do, then i hope i will be able to understand them well. My trouble with accents are sometime their really troubling with how they speak and talk.

  • @Cynice49 That's a narrow view. Don't you want to meet people from around the world? Or will you be happy working in some backwater where everyone is from the same area?

P.S. Most or my Indian/Pakistani lecturers speak better English than most Americans, imo.

  • @Cynice49 dont major in any kind of math or electronics then.

as far as accents this guy isn't bad at all

  • Where was this stuff when I was doing my undergrad in E-Eng :).

  • Oh, wow. I remember this kind of stuff from my undergraduate days :) Wish I'd had YouTube available (and the internet) back then :P

  • @RyuDarragh even if you did, won't you have better things to do than watching lectures on youtube? ;)

  • @drecklia: Well, there is all that pr0n to surf, I suppose. Yeah. Pr0n, beer and parties, right? Hahahaha... we had that, but you had to get playboy and hustler and beer was whatever you could afford. Me? I was too much of a nerd to go in for a lot of that :P
