But then you little bitches run to the police when ever someone insults you..I watched the other videos where you cowards were getting plate numbers for people offending you..You guys don't make any sense..It's ok that that the police, who protect all of us, get killed in our own country trying to protect the citizens.but holy fuck if our guys kill the bastards that killed how many on 9/11?? Sign up for the army and try to change things if you don't like it, you can be openly gay now so ur good
@dobermanman4 Right, because filming a license plate number *definitely* means you're going to the cops. Assumptions are the precise thing that leads people to think that everyone in Guantánamo is a terrorist, even though over 600 have been released by our own government and 89 that are still there are also cleared for release. And that would be about 3,000 civiliians killed on 9/11. Our brave, brave army started a war that killed over 100,000 civilians. Yes, civilians, not "the bastards".
@JustinNorman2:15. "Police haven't arrested that person even though charges were pressed." hahaha.... you guys are awful protestors.... Talk about being brave, you don't know what brave is. You hide behind some video camera to protect your coward ass if anything goes wrong.. Why else would you film a plate number??
@dobermanman4 Again, just pointing out the obvious: highlighting the hypocrisy of police does not equate to "running to the cops". A cop arrived at the scene where a coward man struck a hooded, kneeling woman in our group in the face rather than any of the three men who were standing there. Cops asked her questions and she answered. And, astoundingly enough, having the common sense to document assaults does not equate to stupidity. Strike a woman in the face, and yes, you will face retaliation.
@SkullTuffBikes There's zero need for homophobia here (or anywhere). The guy was clearly acting hypocritically because he didn't like the subject matter of the demonstration about those unjustly held without charge or trial in Guantánamo. If you want to jab at the guy, there are plenty of credible reasons that have nothing to do with speculation about his sexual preferences.
@tasintsar The short answer is that he technically wasn't arrested, but detained and cited, although they did read him his rights, which begin with "You have the right to remain silent." But he was told that if he did not give the police his side of the story, he would go to jail. See the second video (in the video response section) for more info on that.
@piracymatters He received a citation for obscenity. Ironic, considering Palina's attacker still hasn't been cuffed, and also considering the multiple obscenities Kirk's accuser spouted during his little visit to the corner.
I couldn't believe that the guy was cussing at you while he cited you with obscenity. . . . Lawyer up n sue the city. Then buy even bigger signs and better props! Or just require the officer to hold your signs for you for a protest to drop the suit.
the guy didn't even have an opinion, he just wanted peace and quiet. i think it's honorable to stand up for something that is true, for someone's human rights, even if you'll get a "beating". there are far too many complacent, comfortable ppl in this world, like the accuser, that look out for #1.
@JuliaLoVanDesigns I think the guy did have an opinion. It is that we might be upsetting some veterans. I remember this guy now that I watched the videos. He drives a black truck and drove by us a couple of times yelling obscenities. I highly doubt this is about us disturbing the peace and not about our message.

@piracymatters hahaha I like the latter option.

Why didn't the protestors have the cops detain the guy that said 'fuck' and 'shit' right in front of them, and issue him a citation as well?
Why wouldn't the cops have done it right then and there without anyone asking them, since they witnessed it? Double standards much?

@993pk993 Ah, but why bother police with petty namecalling charges?
