  • nice catch! and so close!

  • @HumorISHOT25 Thank you, My daughter shot this video for me

  • el video esta bonito que largo

esta el tren es mi preferido =)

  • cool

  • my mom's brother and sister in law live in Salem

  • I like the American "Railroad Crossing" sign arranged like an X.

    It's cute.

compare it to the dumb signs we have over here-

    gallery.nen.gov.uk/asset78663_1427-.html

  • Lots of graffiti on the train. Nice vid.

  • i like trains. *gets hit by train*

  • why do trains have to be so loud?

  • @kinzykash Because people are to dumb to see a big ass train coming at them.

  • Rather than the same view, I would like to have also seen the signals to the right.

    Nice job!

Pedestrian signal makes more sense than the (o)T(o) arrangement.

  • this is the slowest moving train i have ever witnessed does it make you mad!! lol dh

  • I see there are traffic lights facing the other way. Are they part of this railway crossing? In my hometown, the traffic lights stay red in combination of the usual train signal lights red and gates.

  • i don't get it...!!!

  • Ding ding ding, choo choo! Lights blinkin'. Trains comin'

  • I have never seen a signal mast configured like that before. Different.

  • danke schön für das wunderschöne video

ich würd sooooooooo gern maal nach america kommen, nur um mir die eisenbahn anzuschauen..................

  • The second 2 unit look exactly like NYS&W engines!

  • i love that concrete its so heavy.all the lights are like, COSMIC and stuff. And the hypnotising effect of the hazards goinh weeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how much ?

  • ok that is longer i think before o.0

  • Well done.

  • oh my goodness 5:27 finally :(

it was more like countin sheep before goin to sleep

    1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 . . . . ....

  • Nice video! I used to live in an apartment complex on River Road in Salem, and I could see the PNWR roll past me each day at the south end of Minto siding. Sure do miss the area...........

  • Is P&W a leasing company? cause i noticed that in some of your videos there were P&W locomotives that had santa fe bluebonnets on them. any idea? great vid!

  • @celica825 The actual marks are PNWR. The property is owned by GWI, one of the largest shortline operators in the world.

  • why is there a freaking add at the beginning?????

  • It's roughly winter in the Northwest and it looks like it rained.

  • lol, You dont have to lie about who filmed This video. Good shot. Intresting Crossing signals.

  • Good Catch!

  • lights?

    -bkuz of sign congestion.

    nice fresh paint

    on rolling stock...

    notice that taggers

    skip the rusty cars...

    check out trains 'streetrunning'

    thru Jack London Square,

    Sacremento, Calif...

    talk about lights...

  • Very interesting light arrangement.

  • I just bought a house right on the mainline UP. If it ever jumps the track, I will have a locomotive in my kitchen, I like up close, but that would be too up close for me.

  • @trailertrane that would suck epicly if that happened at your house

  • gotta Love the artwork on the cars... NOT!

  • WHOA!

  • you knw that is one of the weirdest train crossigns i've seen (liek the signals) least in North America :P

  • Why the verticalamps?

    Pedestrian signal?

Nice! Compact and less expensive than cross arms.

If done for vehicles, and some idiot got himself hit by a train, he could claim that he did not undertstand these non conforming, non standard signals.

  • trains dont come down there that much anymore

  • if u wanna sleep, count those wagonsss

  • Nice vertical flashing lights!

  • wow

  • 53 wagons

  • Nice Video

  • Thanks

  • A former Santa Fe engine.

  • the graffiti on this train looks beautiful compared to a lot of other train videos ive seen.

  • @DenisFreeman2 Thank you. Finally someone acknowledges the graffiti. The whole point of freight graffiti is so that everyone sees it when at a crossing, mostly other graffiti vandals/artists, and so regular people can see it and wonder, " wow who did that, and how did they do that, when did they did that". you get it.

  • The point of graffiti is trashing someone's property without their permission in the name of "art".

If I painted the side of your house with stick figures you would deem in vandalism.

But if you sprayed the side of a railcar...it becomes "art" and therefore sacred.

    Bullshit.

Graffitti is trashing private property without permission and it is wrong.

  • @charlieb640 yeah. im not denying it. graffiti is illegal by defintion, if it wasnt then there would be no point in doiing it. its only considered art when its done somewhere thats allowed to be painted on like a "free wall" or your own property. but besides that, there is an art to this vandalism.

  • Nice!!

  • Thanks

  • Interesting vertical arrangement of the flashing lights. Also interesting that there are lights on the backside of the standard facing the train.

  • TAG A TRAIN GO TO JAIL!!

  • you bet. They don't take kindly to it at all.

  • Oregon! For a minute, I thought I was watching the Providence and Worcester in Salem Masachusetts, LOL.

  • The official reporting mark of this road is PNW. The Providence operations is PW so you are right. The locomotives would be registered with the industry as PNW 2303.

  • Never seen a crossing signal setup like that. with one light above the crossbuck and one below. Only in videos based in Asia.

  • That's what she said!

  • I like those GP35's.

  • wow that was long

  • whao i never seen that grade crossing before the one has the up and down red lights when it's flashing when the trains has came thorugh......

  • wow thats so long!!!

  • Anyone caught defacing a train should face felony charges.

Interesting light arrangement at the crossing. Is it more effective in grabbing attention?

  • @bwitz72 maybe because its a pedestrian crossing on that side

  • The veretical crossing is very unusual. Look at all the graffiti on the cars passing by at 0:57, 1:01, 1:13, 1:17, 1:22, and definitly 1:31 !

  • why is it called carousel crossing? LOL

  • The carousel is in the back ground

  • @swedepea Carousel Crossing is also right by the Circus Track...due of course to the Carousel being in the background.

  • O ^ BONG BONG BONG BONG BONG!

O v Love the vertical lights!

  • man of this video i saw mostly the graffiti

  • Funny railfan site railfanne multiply com

  • Someone needs to lay off the graffiti!

  • Comment removed

  • The lead unit is a GP38-2.

  • うるさい

  • This is the ex-Oregon Electric line going right through the heart of downtown Salem, isn't it? Does anyone out there happen to know, how far south do these trains go? Do they go all the way to Eugene, or do they stop at Albany?

  • Wied but cool railroad crossing ervans, great video!!!
