  • is it a historical vehicle?? if it was used during the depression ,would it be of some value to the town?

  • @bikr1975 During World War II many things were rationed, tires, gas, etc. Several companies made tractor conversions for the Model T and Model A Fords. But this one was Home Made. It is very crude but it works. My dad bought it and did some repairs in 1941 and used it during the war to help people plow gardens so they could feed their families. How much is it worth? I joke about that. I tell everyone that asks, that when I fill the gas tank I double its value!

  • @dyna1955 hahahahahahaha...good one. but its still nice to see it at work today.

not many people hold onto tractors that old. and its still running. my friend bought farm property and found a 1958 ford tractor hiding in overgrown bushes and pulled it to the barn where we started a sort of restoration process. 8 months later, we entered the tractor pull at topsfield fair in topsfield massachusetts. it did well :)

it has the rare #s on the transmission just below the seat.

  • @bikr1975 theres more work to be done like the painting process but farmers say they love to see the oil, grease and dirt and dust on them showing theyre still used today. before it goes to maine, ill try to get a video of it running and driving and post it on youtube. it has the 60hp OHV inline 4 with the selectomatic hydrostatic drive system. shift on the fly. i was suprised that it didnt need much work to get her running. nothing like ford.

  • But i s a model T Truck
