  • He's gonna be the one and only.............

  • This is a GREAT tribute. Brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it. Don't apologize to anyone for what you created here. The music and pictures together are absolutely gorgeous... And you used a picture I took at Maynard's 75th birthday party!! :) So thank you for this tribute. I really love it.

  • Are these, all your pictures, if so where did you get them all, or did you get them from google, yeah I am not feeling the music, I don't want to remember one of the greatest trumpet players while listening to some pop song, with electric music and what sounds like an electronically enhanced voice, it doesn't have to be something screaming but I think we all would have preferred some jazz, you know, the kind of like the music he loved and played, These are incredible pictures though.

  • @selector111

i googled the pictures. i'm sorry you're not feeling the music. you could always make your own version. i was pretty young when i made this video, so excuse my "immaturity"

  • What is the name of the song? THx

  • I'll Remember You by No Secrets

  • Thank you.

This is the best combination between song and picture. this absolutely touch the feeling.

  • GREAT

  • 1:00 is the best. Just bliss.

Great job, love the whole thing

  • Very well done .We all loved Maynard and his music.Thank you for posting.

  • where is the scream horn?

  • like i've told some other users before, i felt that this video wasn't meant to be accompanied by ridiculous trumpet music but rather by some heartfelt music. it was to create a different feeling compared to the jazz you normally hear from maynard. if you don't like it, i'm sorry, but this background music is what i felt was necessary to create the emotion i was feeling.

  • great job.

  • This is GREAT, the pics say it all.

  • No need, you just hear his name, and it the highest not.

  • beautiful!!!!

  • great tribute. he brought a lot of joy to my life, as a trumpet player. seeing him some 70 times, and always taking time for the fans. Wonderful trumpet player and great ambassador for music education! we miss you Boss

  • look at maynard at 2.24. look how happy he is doing what he loves. thats how much he loved doing what he did. god maynard your the best! R.I.P Maynard!

  • Great job man. I wish I could have met this legend. He is my inspiration.

  • Manynard Ferguson is and always be the best trumpet player in history. He is my Hero and i miss him dearly! I wish he was still alive.

  • no he is great but not the best, he is Jimi Hendrix to Miles Davis and Wynton's Wes Montgomery

  • he was the greatest trumpeter, the nicest man, and the kindest man ever! i think this is a fantastic tribute to a man that brought happiness into the lives of millions of jazz fans across the globe. he didn't deserve to die and he will be dearly missed for all etrtnity! Rest In Peace Maynard Ferguson!

  • Very nice song, pretty voice.

  • I miss Maynard. =(

  • Very Nice, Maynard loved all kinds of Music..lets remember that..

  • Nice, Theres only one MF

  • beautiful,who's singing that song?

  • No Secrets

  • thank's

  • Nice Tribute! Thanks. He will be forever missed.

  • Maynard is why I'm a trumpet player and a music teacher. The tribute in St. Louis was amazing. Even though there is not MF on this tribute, I still appreciate it for the heart. We'll always remember Maynard and miss him greatly. It's been a year, and I still can't believe it.

  • Very nice, thank you

  • Nice tribute

  • WTF, no trumpet background music ? I'd assume you'd have Maynard going on for background music. nice video though

  • great work. I wanna know who's singing that song there.

  • nicely done

  • Nice job - I appreciate your efforts! Thanks.

  • I was at the tribute concert in STL on Wed and they had some awesome videos remembering his life. They played Maynard's Music

  • You did create the feeling, thanks. True, you could have used MF music, but that's not the point. The point is you left a tribute to a man who will be long remembered in the hearts of many. Thank you.

  • I love the music, the lyrics say a lot about the life of Maynard Ferguson, its a different twist, I really like, I think Maynard would too

  • thanks, it was a different feeling I was trying to create, not the regular jazz you hear from Maynard

  • Do you even own a Maynard album? Hello...

I can think of like 15 ballads you could of used that he...uh...actually played on. Yeah, if you are looking for music, why not look into the inspiration for the tribute?

  • wow man, that's some pretty gay music. How about some wicked trumpet music instead?

  • hahahahahaha
