  • Yes Mrs Jodie that is for sure, firms that do not set up their mobi sites early will kick themselves later...

  • Mobile websites are clearly the next big thing :)

  • All the youngsters are using mobiles for we surfing now.. personally I find the screens too small

  • Until I saw this I never realized our website would look bad on a mobile phone, we spent fortune on it and I have to say I am slightly peeved our webmaster did not point this out.

    back to the drawing board

  • @Dav4809 ...99.9% of webmasters do not know how to build mobile websites, very few will tell their clients their site will "not" work on a cell/mobile phone. We can provide a simple solution for this without affecting your "existing" website, costs hardly anything to fix compared to the money you may have already spent on your present website.

  • In the UK everyone uses mobile phones to to surf the web, I would not shop on a phone but I would look for taxis and hotels etc. It will be interesting to see what happens over the coming year.

  • Yes Annie when they first launched the .mobi it did indeed look like mobile websites would not take off, now though everyone is surfing via their phones. I have to say this will certainly "not" be a fad. In the next few weeks just pay some extra attention to how many people you see surfing via their cell phones.

  • When the mobi domain was first launched it looked dead in the water, now though just about everyone is surfing via their phones. will this simply be a fad though?
