War in the United States has made people very rich. Prescott Bush (George W's grand-daddy) the Rockefellers, Getty, Ford all subsidized Hitler with money, oil, cars, trucks during WWII. People slaughtered in the interest of enriching themselves, playing both sides to make it last to steal more resources from Americans through taxes to help with the war effort. Iraq, Afghanistan = oil and opium.
