  • I hate that plastic wood Toyota/Lexus puts in their cars. It looks so tacky and cheap.

  • @yoyoluc Would you prefer silver trim?

  • @1bentley4ever It would look much better, in my opinion.

  • @yoyoluc You sound like you would prefer the IS more.

  • @fordruleskiasux Hey well you know

  • There is just something about Lexus which makes them feel ultra luxurious, the equus may have more wood and leather, but Lexus actually knows where to place the wood and how to craft the leather and match up the colours ect which makes the lexus es350 feel even more luxurious than the EQUUS..

lexus interiors feel like they cuddle you in, look at the Sonata it swarthy and plastic gloss.. I match rather have the matte plastic on Camry then flimsy glossy plastic on Sonata..

  • @pspslim I can hear where you are coming from. The matte black plastic finish on BMWs or Nissans is nicer than the shiny plastic on Kias and Mazdas. But remember that Hyundai is trying to spice their cars up, so they will use more flashy materials. I have sat in an Equus, and it felt very luxurious, so I do have to disagree with you there. But my experience with having a Lexus is that they are luxurious but very subtle and not offending in looks unlike many Acuras. But DON'T go for a Camry LE!

  • @pspslim Here's how I see it, I would rather have a brand new 2004 Toyota Camry over a brand new 2011 Hyundai Sonata. However, I would prefer a brand new 2011 Hyundai Sonata over a brand new 2011 Toyota Camry. Most of Toyota car's use extremely cheap plastic now, and I don't understand or know why Toyota would get rid of such a perfect car like the Camry & turn it into crap! It REALLY GETS ME MAD! They still have good quality in Lexus Vehicles though.& I still like Lexus, and the Sienna is nice

  • @joewillgo I couldn't agree more with you on the plastic in the new Toyotas. It is awful. Toyota's interior department have REALLY gone downhill. I was telling someone the other day how none of the panels inside toyotas are screwed on. Just snap-in plastic crap. I would have a 1990s Camry over a 2007- Camry ANY day of the week. I am glad to say that Lexus has not gone downhill, though. Which is a good thing because I plan for my next car to be another Lexus.

  • Ok i'm so late to the party! LoL...but I'm here now and watching your awesome video review(s)! This one is pretty awesome in itself!

On a side note, do they always take the shift knob off of display cars?? The reason might be obvious, but I'm just drawing a blank...

  • @Michael3752 Most of the time they do. They unscrew it and take it off so no one can steal it.

  • @1bentley4ever I guess even at carshows there will be those pesky thieves! They gotta ruin it for everybody! LoL

  • Nice video dude.Bet you want that car.

  • @fixdeluxe1 Thanks. Yes! How did you know!? ;)

  • @1bentley4ever Well,I am a fortune teller bentley!

    And your on YouTube!!!

  • @1bentley4ever

It's still hot lol. I asked my mom and she said she loves the new TL.

  • @1bentley4ever

Maybe it was the one you drove? The road tests bajabusta uploaded on the GS I watched and it did well. Idk

  • @hondaftw1234 Probably, the gas pedal is carefully tuned, so if you push down on the gas like you do on a Euro car, the GS tends to lurch forward. The brakes had a weird on/off feel, and the pedal returned too slow. The brakes were new so that might have been a factor. My ES doesn't have a sensitive pedal feel, but the brake pedal is a little grabby at first, but when you get used to it, it's very easy to make sudden but controlled and smooth stops. GS feels more Euro, ES feels more Japanese.

  • @1bentley4ever

Haha, yeah instead of the 335D for my mom, maybe the IS250 Or Acura TSX. I'll go with the Lexus because it's just so pretty! Acuras styling is nice but I find previous cars have better styling. I love the 1998-2005 GS. That would be a car I want if the previous gen came with AWD. O well be sure to put up a vid of the car your mom buys. Anyways, thanks for responding!

  • @hondaftw1234 I actually test dove a 199 GS300, and I liked how it drove, but the one I drove just wasn't for me. Needed a LOT of cosmetic work, and the brakes felt odd.

  • @1bentley4ever

Yeah I'm not made of money lol

  • @hondaftw1234 The I think you and I should stick to Acura and Lexus, respectively.

  • @1bentley4ever

There also very expensive to maintain. I love the new C Class as well. O well, TSX seems like the choice for me. I always wonder how Honda has been able to get 210/205 hp out of a 4cyl. I wish you well with the ES man. I love the 2000/2001 model with the update in silver with tinted windows

  • @hondaftw1234 Yeah, Mercs are good if you are made of money, but suck for long term ownership. Japanese are the best! Thank you. I'm sure I will have some good years and miles with my Lexus. My mom's Volvo is dying, so she is looking for maybe a late 1990s GS, or even an ES300 if she can find one for a good price. 2000-2001 ES looked great, I also love all ES350 years, and the ES330, ESPECIALLY in that gorgeous purple metallic! In fact, all ES models are great, even the flop that was the ES250.

  • @1bentley4ever

Continued... My first car has to be the 2004-2008 Acura TSX or even the same year TL. Idk because I'm in love with BMW. I want my mom to get the 335D because of the MPG's. For me either the e36 3 series like the one alexlovesmac had or the 328i he made a video on, or e39 5 series. RWD would be terrible in the snow in NY though.

  • @hondaftw1234 BMWs are nice, but I think their interiors are a bit too stark for me, and they have too much hard low gloss plastic for me. Though the plastic does feel nice, but I like the plastics in Lexus or even Mercedes and Lincolns better. My preference is his mother's newer 2010 BMW 323i. I also rode in a 2011 Mercedes C300 Sport, and I liked that more than a 2007 328i I rode in a while ago. But the C-class can't touch my car when it comes to bump absorption, though it is more composed.

  • @1bentley4ever

I figured your favorite car would be bentley considering your name haha. I love the RL yes. But, the legend was just amazing and ahead of it's time except the fact it was front wheel drive. That's my favorite car the legend. My dream car is the NSX. But my dream car that seems more practical that I can own one day is the S2000. O yeah and I hate Toyota. We just own one. The video I made about the engine on the van coming on and my dad and i fixing it, it's back on again lol.

  • @1bentley4ever

Aren't we always biased to cars we own. Lol we have had three Hondas and currently are on the third and they are my favorite cars. I prefer Acura. What are your favorite cars/car company?

  • @hondaftw1234 True, but Acuras ARE Honda products. Yet I dislike most Toyotas myself. I think they are cheapy, bland and not very nice. My favorite car company is Bentley. And my true dream car is the Bentley Continental Flying Spur. I take it that you like the Acura RL?

  • @hondaftw1234 My favorite car companies are Lexus, Bentley, Infiniti, Jaguar, some Hyundais, some Nissans, Ford, Toyota and Honda (to a certain extent), Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, some Acuras, some BMWs, Pagani, Ferrari, Maserati, Spyker Cars, Rolls-Royce, and a couple others. Across the mainstream luxury range, Lexus, Audi, and Porsche are my favorites when it comes to tech, engineering, interiors, and build quality. Bentley and Maserati for premiums. Spyker and Maserati for supercars.

  • @1bentley4ever Audis are my favorite cars now.

  • @hondaftw1234 Your username should be audiftw1234 now! Audis are gorgeous and high quality.

  • Is Lexus your favorite car company? I only like the IS300/IS250/IS350 and the previous generation GS.

  • @hondaftw1234 I'm not sure about my favorite, but I am:

    1) Biased because I own a Lexus

    and 2) I have never been in a Lexus I didn't like =D

  • They made some welcoming changes since 2010. My dad should have waited a year :S

  • @carsaregood911 Yeah, they are nice changes. No more spring loaded center console opening. Front end looks great!
