Let me tell you that conventional alternative energy is being suppressed. The utility scale model, maximizes operational and maintenance costs and centralizes control. Implementing any alternative is like pulling teeth. Bio fuel from algae has been stepped on. I worked at a util that had developed this process to the point of pulling their own fleet off of petroleum. It rx'd a gummint grant. The next year the board scrapped it. Amazing coincedence.
