Another red herring I see. In actuality movies on the Holocaust are relatively recent. In fact most movies that mention the holocaust only have exactly that. A mention. Nothing more. Most films during the 40s and 50s that was about WWII focused on the Pacific theater.

Simple fact is that they were really unpleasant people who terrorised their neighbours while evicting them etc.look at the settler's 'price tag policy'. But the situation is very different here. There is little land to be had. There are indeed a few arabs that can actually say "I am from Israel" and fine. @shellyprom: Singling out Palestinians or Muslims is totally misplaced. Post-antiquity- Jews were primarily persecuted by Christians. They were the "Christ Killers". Even in the US- Jews were persecuted until the 40s. Roosevelt refused entry of Jews fleeing Europe. The more recent support of Jews by christians has been a sort of symbiotic relationship-for a mideast presence (oil) and the Post 9/11 world.

The jews have been in that TINY strip for 2,000 years. Let them have it. There are countries around it with bigger pieces of land. It was 2 expensive militarily given the 'handful' of settlements. Many of those squatters were re-settled in the west bank like the Fogels who made the biggest mistake of their life, lol. Others took compensation like the serious religious jews they were. If it was for peace then why lay restrictive siege and even prior to Hamas being elected.

People need to remember these settlements are illegal by international law and the attacks on Palestinians by Israeli settlers are relentless. Itamar, the settlement where this attack occurred, is the most militant leading attacks on Palestinian villages, orchards, mosques, and businesses. Settlers call it a "price tag" policy where they attack innocent Palestinians if Israel slows down construction of their subsidized illegal housing.

@pengo2008 No, that happened in East Jerusalem when the residents of Sheik Jarrah a Palestinian neighborhood rose up because Israel has been demolishing and evacuating hundreds of Palestinian homes and Jewish settlers funded by American philanthropists were moving in to provoke and harass the Arabs. What I'm talking about is deeper in the West Bank around Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem etc.. Google Americans for Peace Now map, the first result is a map showing settler activity/land stolen thus far.
