  • It's supposed to be:

    Don’t cry no more, boy.

You’ve got the other side of your life, so ignore.

---->I’ll move out the front door, and take out your trash.

But I’ll no longer be haunting here,

    I’m not coming back.

  • @AxisXIViral lol well your wrong too.. other side of your life to endure. and at the neverender he says so enjoy. dont correct when your wrong dunce

  • @themrsof2 Um, bullshit. That's why every lyrics website EVER has it as "You’ve got the other side of your life, so ignore."

  • @AxisXIViral Lyrics sites tend to just copy each other. Not saying you're wrong, just that your evidence isn't foolproof.

  • sounds just like michael jackson lol

  • 5 People arent on the brink

  • Sounds like this one's got a little touch of Pink Floyd to it in the beginning & some towards the end also.

  • @QUIZFILTER

3:22 - nearly the same chord progression as the start of "In The Flesh?" It's crazy when you think about how Coheed's writing style is heavily influenced by Floyd. Everything in The Amory Wars is a show, being portrayed by the one most affected. Just like The Wall.

  • Happy 4th birthday NWFT!

  • The line is actually "So enjoy, I'll move out the front door"

  • HAIL

    HAIL

    HAIL

    HAIL

what a way to end the amory wars.amazing work coheed and cambria.

  • Best part of this song is the 2:15 to 2:45 by far. Epic stuff.

  • not even just 2 or three songs. listen to them all. starting with track1 from good apollo

  • "The world must know my story. So long, Amory. Please drive me home one last time. No matter how it's said, how it's typed, or how it's sung, I will still get chills.

  • at 4:13 .... holy fuck! proud to be one among the fence...

  • i wonder who got the honor of counting all 57 "Hails" xD

  • as much as i love this song, i'd be lying if i said i didn't expect the song that concludes the amory wars saga to be anything less than 20 minutes long. song's good, but, should've been 20 minutes long and contained dubstep.

  • @xphoenixdownx welll that's got to be the worst idea i have ever heard.

  • and then out of nowhere BOOM THE FINAL CUT SHHYYEEAAAAHHHH

  • @WastingElectricity Hey, that was a good stor-FINAL CUT!! GOOD APOLLO YAAAAAH!!!! Kinda like that, first time i heard this song.

  • I was surprised by how different this sounds from all of their other songs. I really Like it :)

  • It's "Hail!" said 57 times, one from each tormented soul used to fuel the Keywork under Wilhelm Ryan's reign. If you see the animated vignettes, I'm pretty sure that those zombie-like creatures are the tormented souls, begging Claudio to release them, so that they may sleep in peace. In the end-of-things, so to speak, I believe that the once-tormented souls are thanking Claudio by hailing him as the savior.

  • this song is jizz-tastic...

  • It's Hail! said 78 times, one for each planet in Heaven's Fence.

  • @TheKimgentry it actualy says hail nad you can look on plylyricscom to make sure

  • 1) its hell 2) it says it 79 times

  • I love how they used Final Cut as the ending of this song. SOOOOOOOO EPIC!!!!!

  • You know, this song used to make me want to cry, because I felt that this was truly their last album...Now YOTBR came out and I don't know what to think! The Amory Wars are complete. Hopefully--no, definitely--Claudio will continue his story-writing legacy and the band will create another album to either do a parallel in the story, or create another one. Remember the Kilgannons!

  • Claudio's voice in this song makes me orgasm like no other... and I'm a dude. PRAISE CLAUDIO! WE ARE ALL HIS CHILDREN!!!

  • 4:59 - 5:03 assassin's creed song

  • @Deathlanda really or does it just sound like it?

  • @millertime6888 sounds like it

  • god, thanks so much for putting these up.

  • this song gives me goosebumps. i love coheed til death. i have all albums and assloads of posters. and t shirts out the wazoo. and the neverender movie. and i even have broke up with females over them saying "i dont like this song" claudios a god and my idol.

  • @artistsarefakenow coheed made of movie for the amory wars?

  • @3R1CtheRED no, it was all four nights of theyre neverender tour

  • Tear down the wall... Tear down the wall...Tear down the wall...

  • u have to understand with the hail remarks...it's part of the story, clearly a man is being praised by the people, as the story ends! I never skip past that part~~

  • When I heard this song I thought "gay." BUT NOW OHHHHHHHHHH MY GOD !!!! I fucking love this!!!! Same thing for The Running Free, totally hated that song. Totally love it now.

  • @TheKimgentry it's actually NOT hell, it's hail. So YOURE a simple mistake

  • Like this song but wish there wasn't the two minutes of "HAIL, HAIL, HAIL..."

  • @Koroar Thats the best fucking part, thats the epic ending.

  • @EzVanHalen :/

  • @Koroar I agree bud the HAIL part kind of ruins it I enjoy the soft jazz heart wrenching part.

  • The worlds have now learned of the worst yet to come. On the brink of an end a boy learns to roam... unbeleiveable... it really is.

  • Coheed never stops surprising me. Awsome

  • Woohoo. Gonna go see them todayy XD

  • The only guitar solo to ever make me physically break down and weep was this one.

  • 5:18

    prepare for awsomeness

  • The guitar in this song is SICK!

  • In my opinion The Final Cut beats this song... And "The End Complete" Beats final cut... haha that songs so badass. Gnarly build up and super epic. Classic Claudio.

  • @kylejamescarr God (he will not save you) Is not (He will not save you) Here (he will not save you from this.)

....but better than The Final Cut? Hmm....

  • @thekimgentry its actually hail

  • its hell not hail but its a simple mistake

  • The final cut wins it for me, but On the brink is so epic itself. It's only the "hails" in the middle that pulls it down slightly for me, but the bit at the end is pure awesome.

That, and I am just obsessed with the guitary instrumental bits of the final cut <3

  • @animemaster446 that's why you skip three:thirty and go to 4:44

  • @KhamnNacuri Sorry; 3:45 to 4:40

  • i love how they counted out the Hails lol

  • @cowmagnet lol so did I, just so see if they were right.

  • On the Brink vs. The Final Cut? Hmm....

On the Brink wins for me.

  • @ickyzorro its a good song one of their best, but final cut is more played, i think on the brink get me more pumped up

  • Hail [x57] then the guitar solo at the end... PUUUURE EPICNESS CnC rules

  • Hail!

  • God this song is amazing, but they screw it up in the middle with the hale part but recover in the end over all this song is fucking amazing

  • This is probably my second favourite Coheed song, for the sheer fact that it includes a soloed over version of my favourite song. =]

  • @Andii ah the willing well: the final cut?

  • amazing

  • pink floyd

  • wow, the lyrics were not kidding, they say "Hail" 57 times at the end!

  • WOO final cut reference! :D

  • I LOVE IT!!

  • this is my fave of their songs so far :)

  • love this song. kinda pink floydish until he starts yelling on and off.

  • I'm still hoping for an armory wars movie

  • HELLZ YEAH. lol, Samuel Jackson as Mayo!

  • I can imagine the yelling he'll do in that movie! LOL

  • it would be oscar worthy

  • It sure would!

  • @rfogo14

In an interview somewhere, he talked about a possible anime.

Whether he meant anime movie or anime series, I don't know. Lets just hope he gets a hand in the direction, and whoever gets to do it won't fuck it up.

  • @The ShadowCross

That sounds sickk, but I would be so pissed if claudio sells the rights and the company does a shit job

  • He wont sell something hes been working on for so long.

I'm sure he'll go with whoever gives him alot of control over it

  • @rfogo14

I'm sure if he would never sell the right to The Amory Wars, he would just a partnership.

There would be no way he would just hand it to someone and say "do what you want with it..."

  • I heard somewhere that the significance of the 57 "Hail"'s is that when this song occurs there are 57 planets left in the KeyWork and it's all the inhabitants of those remaining planets honoring Claudio as he fulfills his fate of destroying the planets. I could be wrong though.

  • i really believed that in this song the writer is speaking to the writer and the writer is offering to take him home to live freely but the crowing declines so that when he dies, the world will come to an end, to end the red army and everything that comes with it.

  • Claudio has already died in The End Complete IV: The Road and the Damned. This is actually the writer saying goodbye to the world, and Sirius Amory, the maker of the Keywork. At least thats what I think. The Hail is the final march of the Red Army. still praising Wilhelm Ryan. Unfortunately, this song is about the end of the world, as the entire keywork collapses, Claudio has avanged his family, but, he could not stop Ryan.

  • how do you know this? i'm not trying to prove you wrong or anything i have no idea myself, i'm just insanely curious

  • I watch a lot of interviews with Claudio, and I am constantly on the Cobalt and Calcium forum, Coheeds fansite, they have great pages there on story meaning. Also, once more, I watch a LOT of interviews with Claudio.

  • thiss song, mother superior, and the finall cutt........ orgasmic

  • so is this coheeds last song? will they come out with another album?

  • year of the black rainbow in april 2010

  • I'm so excited. I read that you'll be able to pre-order it near the end of December. And if you do, you'll get a 300 page novel with it :]]

  • Its a technical last song. They're still making a prequal album. But after that there wont be anything left to tell.

  • Are they gonna move on to the next project? Like Kill Audio or something?

  • Don't ask me. I don't know. I hope they do though.

  • Probably not Killaudio, im thinking that theyll probably move on the the in keeping secrets comics, and of course The Prize Fighter Inferno Record just came out with 2 new songs.

  • Wow this song when i first listened to it i just got CHILLS all over my body and cried.....gay to admit but yeah i CRIED just the story ends so sad.....<3 coheed and cambria

  • hows it end?

  • its not nearly as sad as some are making it sound. hes saying goodbye to his past life and the expereinces that have made him who he is (both claudio sanchez and claudio kilgannon - his character) and at the point where he says "so long Amory" he's being so optimistic. he's excited for that final drive on the street that he grew up on, reliving his past expereinces one final time. Claudio is a genius.

Hail! may be the chaos of the rest of his life? which he still finds nice (piano interlude)

  • So that's what that meant, I got the goodbye to the past, didn't know the rest

  • HAIL!

  • nothing like an awesome album with a finale

  • I really like this video and sound. His voice is way better than any I've heard.

  • by far the most EPIC song by them.

  • An artist isn't true if he doesn't steal it and make it his own.

  • God, it's so beautiful. I love Pink Floyd and Coheed and this song makes my ears orgasm.

  • @waylong53 Happy to see that Im not the only one that thought it sounded like floyd :)

  • @waylong53 yea this song is VERY pink floyd-esque. it is one of their influences, which is awesome considering floyd is and always will be one of the greatest of all time.

  • Final Cut was heavily blues based

  • ya they definetly stuck a little blues in this one which i have never seen from coheed ha sick tho

  • Wow, how can people say this song isn't INSPIRED from Pink Floyd, I don't listen to Pink Floyd but it's obvious... doesn't mean they COPIED them, just means they were INSPIRED by them... those build-ups are almost indentical.. but in this case since it is just a few notes it's definatly NOT copying

  • whats up with claudios voice on this song?

  • Beside the fact that it's awesome, i don't see...

  • egh... o.o idk what hes talking about either...clauds voice is very sad in this song tho,and its got alot of feeling in it(which most of his songs do anyways)

  • have you guys heard about the Bag.Online.Adventures album they will do?

  • the beginning is like a mix between Floyd and the Eagles haha.. different for Coheed.. the neverender dvds were amazing. miss josh though! pennie has nothing on ol' Eppard!

  • i think chris kicks josh's ass (but josh was AWESOME 2!!!)

  • Now THIS... is a bad ass song!

  • hailx57 hahha

  • Okay, so listen to that nice buildup at about 3:22 and on.

Now listen to Pink Floyd's "In the Flesh?", about 17 seconds into the actual song.

    lolwut

  • Okay so I listened to them both and.. what in the fuck are you talking about?

  • They are close just probably in the same key

  • its just the same progression. but only for that part,

besides music can only go so long before someone comes along thinking they are original when really they have copied whats been done a thousand times before,

its bands like coheed and cambria that stand out because theres more than just music.

    plus, Coheed and Cambria>pink floyd

    lol

  • *Coheed and Cambria>pink floyd*

    You sir, are correct.

  • they are not better than pink floyd at all far from it

  • FUCK YOU! xD

But seriously,im appalled that you think that.

  • listen to mother superior,or the final cut, those songs are heavy-laden with his emotion, its quite moving.

and yes, while you're entitled to your own opinion,i reserve the right to think you're a dumbass for it :D

  • @bluelightning133 i love me some coca as much as anyone but they are not better than pink floyd. i think claudio would be the first one to admit that. no shame in that and i hope coheed continues with new concepts and progressions for many years to come because band-wise they are one of the strongest out there today.

  • yeah, they are obviously inspired by pink floyd at some moments on this album, just like dream theater on the scenes of memories album. And definetaly not the worst place to ind inspiration

  • i do love this band

  • I love this song, but I HATE the HAIL HAIL HAIL HAIL HAIL HAIL, and on and on like that for a couple of minutes, it bugs me so bad. lol I just mute at that spot. XP

  • i used to HATE it to, but now i dont, it grows on you

  • haha, i'm starting to warm up to it too. I love coheed and cambria so I end up liking every bit of it. lol

  • its from evil dead 2...
