served? cadet lambert u sum up space cadets ....pricks...oooo i get to sit in a jag that last flew in the 80s. am at cosford atm on my amm course, sit in the work on them every day and they are all old buses that are about as likely to fly again as you are to suceed in life.
we also have the war reserve jags on the main side. also arent fun.
getting a hard on from sitting in a jet is true spacey style mate well done
That second Jag, "07" of 226 OCU brings back memories. I used to work on her back in the 80's at Lossiemouth. I've always had a soft spot for the Jag. Reasonably easy to work on, although it had a few jobs on it that could be an absolute bitch to do!
Hoping to go to the Norwich Aviation Museum sometime this summer.. They have one there.. Saw them practising landing / take offs at Coltishall a couple of years ago.. outside the airfield.. Not a bad aircraft at all.. Now, maybe there's hope that MY latest video will appear as well, it's only been brewing since before noon today.. :P Great video.. :) And no, I haven't (yet) got a kit.. but would like to build one from Coltishall one day.. :)
I've no idea of its quality or buildability, but theres many an Airfix Jag about model shops/hobbycrafts at the moment(With cool 'The Saint' stickman insignia!). I may well pick one up!
You still have seen far more aircraft in the air than I ever have.. :D My friend in Ipswich is doing the Jaguar at the moment.. it's got the Saint Stickman, but I'm not sure if it's the Airfix kit or not.. when I saw it it was full of filler.. he wasn't overly impressed by the fit.. but he loves these obscure weird kits that hardly ever go together well.. for some reason..:)

I'm surprised those things fly with the microscopic wing area. Must be a long takeoff run?

Better clarify.. I was outisde the airfield, they landed inside on the runway.. :)
KurtGnu 4 years ago
Yeah only Swedes land jets outside the airfield, on the road etc. Odd country.

I'd say it's a very clever concept.. :D

Though I admit I've never seen one fly. :*(

Sounds like the airfix to me. I'm not in a rush to buy it though.
SmiertSpionem 4 years ago
I'm not sure.. it may have been the Airfix decals.. or after market.. but not neccesarily the Airfix kit.. :)
KurtGnu 4 years ago
Ah, cunning use of airfix decals on a different plane. As I plane to do to my Italeri IX.

You're getting to grasp with the finer details of modelling, my friend..

Hasegawa have the best Jag models 1:72 check em out.i have the you have the option to make the single seater if you buy the two seat model.

Groovy, problem is I won't be making any jets for a while, not until I have finished my spitfire project. It involves all the main marks.
Thanks for the tip.
