That's the point, althaiareise, the reason things are out of control is the whole trans-border-labor-migration system is outside the law, thus it can't be controlled. Gov't operates thru law. In order to bring the problems connected to this system under control, it has to be put under the law. Then gov't can use the law to control it. It's the same reason drugs can't be controlled; the same reason that, after a lot of hell, we finally learned we needed to legalize booze so we could control it.

Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL)is annoying isn't he. I've seen him on several shows. He has no respect for commentators or anyone else. He consistently talks over everyone and then he complains, "Let me speak. Let me speak." I keep thinking. Shucks. You're the only one talking now. You can't have a serious conversation with that guy. He won't shut up long enough. And, the guy may not be racist - but he seems to care for only one race.

Good for Gutierrez for not getting pushed around by that. If you ever read his legislation, the STRIVE Act, you would see that it cares for much more than one race- it actually provides solutions that benefit everyone in this country. Enough of this race baiting!

I don't know why any one ever asks Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) on a show. He never shuts up. I was surprised he actually allowed Lou Dobbs to say anything. Sometimes you can actually agree with him, but he won't shut up long enough to let you. When I see him on TV, sometimes I just have to pick up the clicker - because you never get to hear any speak but him.

I find it so funny that people like ashishdave22 accuse me of being an illegal immigrant. I am a U.S. citizen and although people like AD22 would like to deport everyone they disagree with, I hope that the U.S. hasn't turned into that. Also I did not accuse Lou Dobbs of racism but of hypocrisy with regards to his race baiting criticism, which are very different things.
