The enemies in the volcano in Seiken Densetsu 3 actually tend to be weak to darkness...or in fact fire, I think. Though that game does have its own fire area. It's just not the volcano.

Well, I've finally completed Lufia II. I think I'll do a lot of level grinding in Lufia 1 as the enemies and bosses are a bit harder for me compared to Lufia II. Well, I'm talking level grinding early from the start. Plus, the battle system is quite primitive, which is on par with Final Fantasy 1 for NES -- well, maybe not that primitive, since the game will not automatically switch over to the next enemy to attack if I select the same defeated enemy, but that's just me and my opinion. :)

I used Foomy through the game my first play through and yeah if he catches up he becomes a powerhouse. Possibly more valubile then Flash and DEFEINTLY better than blaze

It's much easier to look at the sprite and see the tails, then assume that there are nine. But, behold the eight tails fox. Actually, no you're right, I don't like playing RPGs so much, I've no directional sense, and find most battle systems a tad dull, meaning for RPGs I've mostly played the Chrono Series, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2, and perhaps a few others to completion.

This game is full of Surprises, Blaze the dog turned into a dragon which turned into a Pheonix, Flash went to an angel of sorts and then went into a Unicorn, then Foomy was turning into bigger clouds and then he turned into a Kitsune (legendary fox with multiple tails). Wow game, I'm glad you weren't part of the original Pokemon series, I'd be confused.

There was fox fire, but that was just illusionary stuff.

@MasterAsra It's been brought up more 'n more in modern times. They're more trickers if anything. Some will put any elemetal affinity they want for their 'character'. There's a 'tsune for every color of the rainbow. Even purple!

On the note of the Water capsule monster... His final form has loads of staying power(High gut, MGR, HP, and defense) and then moderate offensive capability. But he gets laden with a crappy 3rd ability that silences a single enemy or something. Everything resists it completely pretty much. Yes, he does spam it. Yes, it is disappointing. Hyper Kick on those Brokions does like 1600 damage though.

Were Foomy at equivalent level with your party, and if he had his final move(Tail Smash), it would be capable of dealing 900~1300ish damage depending on enemy resistance. Single target. You should also note that Bubble Blow is a debuff to enemy defense.

I think Foomy has nine tails, because in Japanese folklore the more tails a fox has, the older, more powerful, and wiser it becomes, up to nine tails.

Incidentally, this is where the idea of Ninetails from Pokemon came from.

Yeah Foomy H is where I keep him. He gets Mega Punch, has more HP and DEF. But As Gold Fox he has more attack. And he gets a nice attack. Also Foomy H just looks so awesome. A giant Foam Golem.

She picked it out randomly because she wanted it for herself haha. Then she thought that I would want it. Best random gift EVER!!!! The second one I bought for myself so it didnt mean as much. I ended up playing through the whole game with my mom. It was awesome.
