@primrosegirlclub No, this is his mother-in-law's house where they filmed seasons 1-5. 6 and 7 were filmed in another house, then seasons 8-present are filmed on a soundstage whose kitchen was modeled after the second house. His real house is in "Give Peas a Chance."
Aye. I live in Western New York: The snow gets arsehole-deep to a tall Indian, the school busses do skids, and winter driving is a bloody sport!. To us WNYers snow is just another way to keep your beer cold.
By the way, from personal experience, snow tires are a rubbish waste of money. Get all-seasons.
@RedHilariousComments "McGuffin" is a Writing term for a character or item who isn't important in itself but is just there to draw the characters into the situation.
Like the "Unobtainium" in the movie Avatar.
We never learn what it's supposed to DO, It's just there to get the humans onto Pandora.
@trumbachd1 Actually, it's not originally a writing term, though it is widely used in literature. Alfred Hitchcock originally coined the term, while George Lucas made it famous as a central plot-device through his use of R2D2.
Nice Blair Witch Reference.

I think AB is more hyper than normal...could he be dabbling in the white stuff? He is a t.v. star after all.

They're in Atlanta. The whole premise of this episode is a playful jab at how Southerners don't know how to deal with even a little bit of snow. ;-)

@RedHilariousComments google "a mcguffin"
a element (usually a character) inserted into a book or screenplay solely for the purpose of carrying the narrative along.

I love how when they cook the hash, he yells at her for putting the paper on the range, but then he sticks the plastic container on it.

I swear this style of filming is poking fun at Jamie Oliver's cook shows, you know, the moving camera, the title screens i.e. "The Hash" screen.

But a V-22 isn't a helicopter.....
Still a great episode though.
wurmwizard 4 years ago
Its sorta like a helicopter, at least enough like one for a lay TV show.
