It seems to me that she has no problem with her notes. What is something not good is how she portrays the divisiveness of her emotions that is demanded in this particular scene, that is between her daughter and Sarastro. Natalie Dessay's portrayal of the same just captures the kind of actuation a mother has in regard with her daughter.

After listening to so many awful performances by subpar sopranos who desperately try to sing this insanely difficult piece, this one is a voice of an angel. lol Pitch-perfect, literally. Bravo.

Oh dear. Beautiful, but she is too slow on some cues and her top note doesn't quite reach it. It appears that she needed a bit more practice. Usually I love Edita, but this time not so much.

@QueenNaiomi I did notice that her high G was pretty weak. Just for fun, i tried to master the staccato high notes part, and I was able to sing the top note in a couple days. Actually, almost anyone who tries hard can do it. :)

@LIttleColonialDolly It's an F and has always been. It may have been even lowered to an E in Mozart's time if they used Baroque tuning.
