what u should do for those high notes is a trick called the acute bend, when ur about to hit a high note that you are usualyy lost on, bring your oc into ur chest, about 10 centimeters from from ur chest and then blow, the diaphragm will make u hit those notes with no problem at all.

search YT for "acute bend" if this explanation doesnt suffice,

I made the guitar part, then I had to cut my hair, and 1 week later I made the ocarina part. I did many trys with the ocarina... I'm still not satisfied with the sound.

I'd prefer to have SSBB before! But MKart is VERY fun. And I love the wheel. It's just a bit frustrating because your ranking changes everytime, you take thousands of blue shells when you are first, etc. More than in any other Mario Kart.
