Good movie from my generation. Shot at Lake View H.S. in my old neighborhood in Chicago. Actors were pretty friendly too, they seemed interested in what was up in the local schools for authenticity.
Yes we did! He was nothing like you may of thought. He was polite, funny, and really down to earth. We hung out watching them film, and ended up in the background as extras.
There is a lot of kids from the neighborhood in the background.
Cast and the neighborhood got along real well. It made it hard to believe their characters as bullies, since we got to hang with them a bit.

hum...so those bathrooms are still a mess with TP hanging from the ceilings, huh? ;-) That's funny they never painted, you must feel like you're in 1980 when you walk the halls, LOL. With a Superman Lunchroom, awesome.

I loved this movie growing up and still do. It taught me how to stand up for myself. I got in a fight with another kid and then we became best friends since 4th grade. I hope everyone learns how to stand up for themselves. Don't pick a fight but always fight back (if you have to). It takes a better man to walk away. TY for the post.

It was cool, fucker is so TALL THOUGH! LOL. Hes a joker i'll tell you that. Off set when he wants the camera to roll.. hes like "Alright lets fucking do this, lets go yeah!" lol. Really nice guy and talkative. He has a VERY extremely intiminating stare.
