This is perhaps my very favorite Lucinda Williams song, too- and I've seen her live several times- she was wonderful each time! Sometime ago I watched the movie "Unhook the Stars" and in a scene this beautiful song plays from the jukebox.

Lucinda makes me cry more than any artist, except maybe Iris Dement. I have a great admiration for Lucinda's deep honesty in her lyrics, which she combines with such naturally matching music, an awesome combination.

@Sunsong23 She is so Cool and a great Artist and a excellent singer. And this song is a favorite of mine. I also hint a touch of blues in this song which is good. Thank you for posting this. I also heard this song in the early 90's when she was on one of the half hour country music shows. I believe it might have been The Texas Connection if you remember that show.
