  • Hi guys, can somebody tell me the name of the knot that daniel Graig used in 007 casino royale or quantum of solace?

    thanks a lot!

  • thanks

  • most of these knots look the same :S

  • what knot does James Bond use in Quantum of Solace on the plane to Bolivia?

  • I love the meticulous way this chap ties these knots, with great clarity and ease of following. No fluff, no words necessary!

  • :( Why did you cut off the guy's head JUST to show YouTube a knot?! BTW that looks good at the end.

  • hey guys just need some help.. so while re-watching casino royale, i saw that bond had this really classy knot with the blue tie when he is talking to mathis before the big game.. any idea which knot that one is? thanks in advance

  • @mbhatt8 It appears to be a Full Windsor. If that's not it, then it's some other type of symmetrical knot, but it looks very much like a Full Windsor.

  • The way he creeps up behind the guy with the tie looks like he wants to strangle the mannequin lol

  • The only two knots you will ever need are the half and full windsors.

  • it looks like a windsor

  • thx

  • HAHA, i love the knot jokes!...KNOT!!!

  • This is kinda like a half plattsburg

  • I much prefer the Half and Full Windsors.

I will knot wear small knots!

    Knot me!

  • All knots are not the same. You wear different knots for different occasions. Knots for short men and tall men. Could depend on collar of your shirt. This guy does a wonderful job showing us. Get your tie and knot along, pause, resume

    newsweek.com/2008/10/13/political-ties.html

  • within a very subtle range, all knots look basically the same. if you obsess over your necktie knot, you are a ponce.

  • They pretty much all the look the same to me at the end...or is that just me?

  • @TaffyRaphie it's just you. The Windsors are larger, the Full Windsor being once of the largest symmetrical knots. Check out Modern Butlers on YouTube for tutorials.

  • @IrinaR7 Lol yes. I wore a tie just for fun at school today and my teacher knew which one I had done and he also knew about all the other ones.

  • All these knots look the same to me.

Can anyone really differenitiate between them?

  • Whats your favorite Knot?

  • nice verey cool

  • ughhh i hate it how private schools always have to wear ties sadly im in one:(

  • definitely the best looking tie knot out there, really symmetrical and full if you tie it well (which this guy didn't really do.

  • Pls help me as well what knot did the James Bond used in the Royal Casino and Qut of Sola ..... Thanks alot

  • .can u please help me.

.what do you call the knot that has been used by David Archuleta on his AOL sessions?.

    .urgent please.

  • It really is an artform isn't it.

  • i've watched like 7 different ways to tie a tie. and the out come looks like every other one. so i ask whats the point and way are there so many different ways when its just gunna look the same. any help?

  • @otfguitar1 most ties are made for certain types of neck ties, for example the ones with the most steps to it are usally for neckties that are skinnier and longer while the ones with fewer steps are for wider ties, hope that helps

  • @otfguitar1 Some are smaller, some are larger. Some are symmetrical, are aren't. If you're looking for a truly different way to tie a tie, do a Youtube/Google search for the "Ediety Knot" aka the Merovingian. Another cool one is the "Eldredge knot".

  • @otfguitar1 Kanhha's right, and the individual collars and ties are both factors in the end appearance of each knot. Basically, when you have an equation involving neck size, shirt size, collar size, collar type, tie material, tie shape, and what-have-you, multiplied by the amount of different knots you can chose from, you get quite a large variety of outcomes. Picking the best of these through trial and error will enable you to better see the simple practicality of choice itself.

  • maybe you can help me out,I'm looking for a tie knot which makes the knot stand really out forward. Can be seen in the godfather part I on Tom Hagen(Robert Duval) as he greets Kay Adams. Anyone knows which knot it is?

  • i would like if he would move his hands once in a while away to see how the knot looked liked, so you can compare

  • This is my favorite knot!!!

  • Stellar!! What is in your opinion the most elegant knot... well a knot a true gentleman would wear

lets say 1. dark blue hugo business suit

    2. grey Boss business suit.

    3. should the tie that is worn with a tux. be self knoted or "preknoted"

    Thx

  • full winsor from one gent to another

  • @Swirlman1

    THANKS :-)

  • Thx for this sir, really helped me to learn how to tie a knot for a job interview and yes, I got it XXXX

  • Okay, can somebody please help me? What is the name of the knot that the Blues Brothers and gangsters in Reservoir Dogs wear called?

  • They used both the "Oriental" (symmetric) and the "Four in hand" (assymetrical). They are both really small knots.

  • they all look the same

  • @chrissyV91 i no lol ^^ it was what i was gonna say

  • you scare me

  • Brilliant!

  • These're great. The only thing that'd make it better would be a narrator.

  • i do this often with my skinny tie. it looks great

  • amazing

  • I didn't know there were so many ways to tie a tie. lol.

  • cuz there are many kinds of people you have to meet in the real life!

  • i finally no how tie a tie. thnxz man.

  • I DID IT! =D

  • with a normal tie its very dificult

  • thank you very much, really useful

  • thats my knot!

  • These videos are great! In no time I'll have mastered them all! But I think I've always tied my ties lefty... even though I'm right-handed. I wonder why I do that...

  • I do that too. Its much easier for me somehow. Im right handed, yet I start with the wide end on my left side.

  • no ma este guey esta bien cabron para hacer nudos de corbata.

    la neta es bien rifado

  • kinda cool that i chance upon this vid while searching for a way to get my tie done. i am from saint andrew junior college lol

  • thank you, very helpful..

  • Perfect .. Especially when done with a thick Tie !

  • my favorite knot good job man

  • its like a creepy gay guy tying a knot in a dark room...memories...

  • @bleh4001 Yeah, those were good times.

  • @bleh4001 idk why your comment is so high rating. its a slap in the face to the maker of the video

  • looks messy

  • Ok...So blabber blabber, Ok seems easy enough. THANKS 4 VID

  • i desperatly needed these videos and they help completely.

  • my favorite

    thanks for all these videos.

  • I think this is like the Cavendish knot, but starting with the reverse's side of the tie. And like in the others like this, we save one loop

  • This is the best knot in my opinion

  • Thanks, this is one huge knot!

  • Mmmmmm its so HUGE!!!!!!!!!!1

  • thats what she said

  • Just a question, this is not a self release knot? I just wanted to make sure I was doing it right. The way I am doing it, it doesn't self release.

  • I'm not sure why.. but I can't tell the difference. =/ Hahaha maybe it's because im a girl. not to be sexist or anything.

  • lol too late

  • This one is my favorite. Thanks for all the informative videos.

  • I love you tie man. 8D

  • I don't want a symetrical knot! I'm looking for one that's slightly disheveled like the four-in-hand but with a little bigger knot. Any ideas?

  • The Victoria Knot is what you are looking for

  • This looks very difficult. And the knot doesn't look as good as many of your other knots. I can't really see any good reasons to use this one, but again - it is cool to know all the knots.

  • It's all about the ties and which materials they are made of. One tie looks great with the St. Andrew, whilst another tie looks horrible with it. It's good to have the different choices.

  • Well agreed ..when you said based upon the material of the tie...I have tried.

  • you use the same tie in all these videos and they all look pretty much perfect

  • That was owesome! Thank's, now I can look like real man!

  • Gracias, me ha sido muy útil este video.

Thank you, this video has been very useful for me.

  • this one's great!

good work on those ties, avvi66!!
