And that speaks very good about himself. He's so down to earth to show respect or admiration for any guy that plays great or not. Even to his parodies. And I'm sure he actually knows he's better than anyone, c'mon, but If that's not a down to earth guy, then I don't know what it is... John Petrucci is awesome!

@vaughaning true, but I was referring to his comment on how he sees kids playing his stuff better than him, meaning he might see them play something that he's long forgotten, that he'd have to go back and re-learn. I used to hear EVH bitch about how he found immitation insulting. I never understood what his problem was. John, on the other hand, finds it flattering, which is how it should be. He is awesome. The whole band is a great bunch of guys.....even the silent enigmatic Myung :-)

Most of all Italian migrants moved to america in the beginning of the 20th century and they tried to continue with their culture and mentality (Little Italy, NY) and I´m quite sure that Johns parents talked in Italian speech.
