I've always thought that Childs is the Thing b/c he takes a sip from Mac's bottle. If Childs was still human, he wouldn't drink after Mac b/c he would be afraid that Mac was the Thing and he might be contaminated somehow by drinking after him (especially Childs, as he was the most paranoid of the group). But as the Thing, Childs knows that Mac is not also the Thing and therefore, he's not afraid to drink after him. Mac also realizes all this, which is why he laughs after Childs takes the drink.

If Macready was the thing, why he would blow up the other thing??? In my point of view Mac was never a thing, he realized that if the thing survived, it could mess up the whole world, so he blew the entire camp.

Because the thing wants nothing standing in its way, especially a rival of its species, so it cleverly hid and waited till the others exposed themselves.

Okay, how about this theory:

At the end, Childs freezes to death, Mcready, being alone, stubles upon the thing. THEN gets infected and survives until the rescue comes.
