  • My dad had 4 ricks he sold them all:(

  • @TSBy390 Good video man...clicked post befor i was done typing XD

  • Let's say it the truthful way: You can 'hear' and play a Bm but John wrote it as a B7.

  • Where did you get this Guitar?

  • Brilliant

  • When I get this guitar, I'm going to tackle some songs that people haven't covered yet, just for shits 'n' giggles.

Having said that, I'd definitely have fun playing this one. Great song.

  • incredible rhythm playing my friend & great job on solo as well...you couldn't get a more authentic (Beatles) tone than that

  • Very impressive!!! Good job!!

  • Cool adaptation of the solo, especailly the end of it.

  • That. Leaves. Me. Speechless.

  • @Farkelu You're confusing the fact that although Lennon sings an F note over the D7,making it in theory,a #9 interval,.the chord that's actually played remains a D7,and not a D7#9..

  • Not only is the first chord in the bridge a B7, but the third chord in the verse is a D7#9

  • good job kid u got closer 2 lennons solo than anyone else ive seen on spewtube

  • @Hebdula It is pretty obvious that it is a B7,in that lennon sings an E flat note, which corresponds to it being a major chord and not a minor chord. There are not many videos out there on this song, however,if you want video proof, there is a concert that exists in which it is obvious that lennon is playing a B7 and not Bminor.

  • @loksinsan oh shit, I didnt realize I was playing a Bm in that video. I know play everytime a B7! You are completly right of course. (My first answer must have been strange to you, wasnt it?)

  • I like all the videos that you have put out.You are a beatle freak just like i am. I don't mean to rain on your parade mate, but the very first chord in the bridge is a B7, not B minor.Good stuff though.Keep it going.Cheers.

  • @loksinsan no problem, but what are you based on to say he played a Bm? Any live videos..? If it's only by ear, I hear a B7 (or I prefer the B7, let's say it that way)

  • @Hebdula But you played a B minor in the vid? :S

  • @viceisthename yeah :D i didnt notice it either. i forgot that used to play a Bm there

  • @Hebdula Oh, that explains why I thought your first answer was strange, hehe :) Do you still have the Rickenbacker? :P

  • @Hebdula

Great playing, love the "Rick". I was going to buy 325,as I had a new charge card to break in.

But I decided on a 330 instead. I love my Rickenbacker. I also am a Big Beatle fan.

  • Funny? No. He played a 360/12.

  • @alienhuman Harrison did indeed. Lennon played his trusty 325 though.

  • @Hebdula Lennon had a 12 stringed guitar but harrison played on 360/12 , yeah :)

  • @phreaker92 Yes Lennon had a 12 string guitar but he played his 6 string 325 here.

  • brill sound

  • NICE GUITAR AND PLAYING...WRONG CHORD THOUGH IN THE BRIDGE (every body's green part)..IT'S A B7 NOT A B minor

  • NICE GUITAR AND PLAYING...WRONG CHORD THOUGH IN THE BRIDGE..IT'S A B7 NOT A B minor

  • eww rickenbacher :(

  • @JonasHater96 ugly, isn't ?

  • @Hebdula yeah

  • @Hebdula Dont like it? Ill give you my Epi Les Paul. Its way better than this hunk of junk. ;)

  • Funny thing is Lennon used his new '64 Rick 325 to record this song.

  • @Ottoboy111 funny indeed ;)

  • PLZ do Twist and Shout

  • RIckenbacker かっこいいですね!もちろん演奏も!しかも音も心地よいです。欲しくなりましたRIckenbacker!!。その前にギター弾けないと!i call your nameをリクエストします。

  • awesome job!

  • miluju tohle video :-)

  • exelent cover

  • did u do the dead pickups mod that lennon did for the middle pickup

  • Great job!!

  • Where did you get it from, Ebay? And from which country did you order it it from, I mean... where was the guitar at first, and ((this is a stupid question but)) is it safe to order from Ebay? Please answer 'cause I'm thinking of getting one myself so I need to know. :)

  • @viceisthename i bought it from a guy in the USA, i kno him from a forum. i dunno whether order from ebay is safe or not, i guess it is.

  • @Hebdula What forum?

  • @Hebdula Would forum be the BGC?

  • @viceisthename i got my rick 330 from a store called Sam Ash music sell all sorts of Ricks and great prices and if you find a cheaper one they will eat the price. highly recomend

  • I need to find a way to get one of these in Australia without paying twice as much as it is worth.

There's some disgusting price gouging going on. Even if I buy one from someone who isn't a retard, I still have to worry about import tax.

  • @Zebonka The price of them in Sweden are 5725 (!!!) in American dollars...

  • Ouch. Screw that. You know what the best thing we can do is? Never -ever- pay that much for one! If I save like a motherfucker, I can get one for that much, but I'm not going to. I'm gonna keep my eyes open and wait for someone with a soul to sell me one for less. Might take a while, though...

  • @Zebonka Yeah, but why are they so expensive here? :S. Someone in a forum told me that the body could crack if you screwed on a bigsby on it, do you know if it's safe or not? :P

  • Not sure really. For starters I'm gonna try find one that's already got a Bigsby in it, but if I have to put my own in then I'll likely get someone else to do it.

  • @Zebonka Yeah, I get kinda worried!

  • Did you get that guitar at TommyGuitars?

  • Great looking Ric 325. Did you buy that at TommyGuitars?

  • HOT DAMN!!! thats WAYYYY better looking than the 325v59JG. jesus christ...they discontinued the c58 beacause they had the bullshit kaufmann vibrato on it. but if its modded just right, like yours, it looks perfect! check out my rick 320 :)

  • are you selling that guitar?

  • @zipitman1 god, why should I? I just got it!

  • @Hebdula dude never sell that guitar it would be a sin lol keep it the rest of your life.

  • @LEEUMSK8 sure i will keep it ;)

  • Wow, great sound, I really like this guitar, you should do I want to hold your hand with the compressed sound of the rickenbacker!! :)

  • nice why did you send it to a luthier?

  • @LEEUMSK8 the b string nut hole was too wide, it did a sitar effect

  • Great playing! Now you've got the beatles/ John Lennon sound! Did you change the bridge before you did this clip? The "Bowtie bridge" right? And do you think it's good for lead, how does it feel to play solos on it? :)

  • @viceisthename yeah i changed the bridge for the bowtie, but that was done just after the first 325c58 video, so it's 3 weeks now

  • @Hebdula Okay

  • Comment removed

  • is that miami series?

  • @mattleeboy No it isn't

  • @mattleeboy it's a 325c58, C series, hamburg if you like

  • like.

  • The white nut seems a bit strange, but great vid man.

  • @hendrixdude67 i kno, but it had to be done, it plays better now (sound and playability)

  • What was the problem with the original?

  • @hendrixdude67 the b string hole was too wide, it did a sitar effect.

  • Comment removed

  • @Hebdula Doesn't It buzz anymore? ((I saw a "mjsokes" video and you said that the B string was buzzing))

  • @viceisthename no it doesnt anymore

  • @Hebdula :P

  • Ah, i see.

Where did you get that nut from?

I have the same problem, but didnt htink it was the nut...

  • @hendrixdude67 I had my luthier make it.

  • @hendrixdude67 You have to use a flat wound b string, thats what John used ...as do I :o) It works belive me :o)

  • Well, why not use all of the strings flatwound?

I have some pyramid 12's on mine.

  • @hendrixdude67 Well....if you use flat wound on all strings, it could sound rather dull. Use som round wounds with a flat wound.... and you will have a crispy sound and a guitar that stays in tune ;o)
