Mu final conclusion...FL is not for metal. Even if it supports vst plugs and you can add EZ drummer or Guitar rig or any other usual plugs for metal composition. It has a very friendly and easy interface and it is good to use for slower computers. If you want to "play with metal" and you have a pro pc...just use Sonar

in any case the slayer guitar from FL is not nice at all. To put a realistic sound in the FL guitars I've just used the Guitar Rig vts plug and after that I've had a really clear,nice, realistic sound.

Another minus for FL guitars: When you want to play for example a quint, you have to create separate channels for each note for the final sound to be clear. If you'll put 2 or 3 notes in the same channel one under another...you'll have a very ugly and unrealistic sound.
