When it comes to who is the better guitarist (or musician in general) it seems like it might be hard to tell. WRONG! People can like one style more than another, but no matter what style you can't deny technical ability. For instance, I thing Dave Mustaine is an amazing guitarist, he is by far my favorite, by I also know that Yngwie is way better. Same goes for singers, the only way to accurately judge singers is by their vocal range. Styles are subjective, but talent is not.
@OudhBurner gilberts not faster, he has more variety...impellitteri isnt as good as a composer, its actually very very rare hearing yngwie try to play fast, he can go much faster but doesnt like the way it sounds

Having heard the most known and some not so well known Yngwie songs, I can say that in my opinion this is one of the best albums as this is the one that really shows his compositional skills while his other albums are more of a shred-mash-fest sorta thing and really only bore me.

I agree with the ego part whole heartedly. Hell I've been a fan of his since 84 and it has been tough to defend his words and actions over the years reguarding his colleagues over the years but I do have to say that I find his attitude towards his guitars rather refreshing. He treats his guitars as instruments to be played, not museum pieces. Me personally I would have that 54' Strat ALTLEAST on a stand, but hell it's his money and guitar who should I tell him how to treat them.
He's not the greatest. He is ONE of the greatest guitar players. But his personality is quite a bit disgusting :D
Having met P Gilbert and J Petrucci this year, all I can tell is that they are far less superficial and more humble than Yngwie! Just my point. Tell me what you think! cheerz

@Yngsatchvai In my opinion, Yngwie's first 5 albums are amazing. Rising Force, Marching Out, Trilogy, Odyssey, and Eclipse have a lot of great hard-rocking songs and emotional ballads. Every album after Eclipse are not all that great. Theres probably a few good songs in each CD, but that's it. Angels of Love is the only other CD in which I enjoy all the songs in.
Just comment/rate to tell me if you guys want more Yngwie Malmsteen! I can fairly easily get more of this same album up, subscribing won't hurt either.
