  • Sooo did flash just run back to earth lol

  • Strange that they don't appear to have the rights to Batman...

  • @KirneH004 They did a Batman show separate from this.

  • If there ever was a time when Super Hero cartoons ruled Saturday mornings,it

was in the Fall of 1967,as exampled in this clip segment of "THE SUPERMAN-

AQUAMAN HOUR OF ADVENTURE" which highlighted CBS-TV's superior

Saturday morning line-up! this was Filmation's heyday, when they did the DC

    Comics(then National Periodical Publications) as cartoons,before Hanna-Barbera

came-up with "SUPER FRIENDS" in 1973. hard to belive that all this also came

out of the BATMAN craze durring this time period!

  • Was that hammer that came from Green Lantern's ring yellow? He's been two-timing.

  • Batman on his own show. Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter are not around. Neither is Aquaman and he's in the opening credits!

  • Hey, where's Batman, Wonder Woman & the Martian Manhunter?

  • @iwasanangryyoungman Sure!! and where also is Black Canary, Zitanaand elongated man....? List continue....

  • even though he's in the opening.... I've never seen Aquaman in any episode of Filmation's Justice League. and why is Flash nothing more than a Taxi Cab for the Atom.. ha ha

  • @Jazzy9964 I was always puzzled that Aquaman never appears in a JLA cartoon. As for The Flash here, the three JLA episodes always struggled to get all five superheroes quality screen-time - they come closest in this one.

  • This was last my first exposure to most of these characters. These iconic versions of the characters are still what I prefer.

  • FINALLY!!! Someone has a great set of these videos. Beautiful quality. I have waited for far too long for videos like these. I sincerely hope that other episodes from the old 1960's Filmation series such as Batman, Superman, Superboy and Aquaman will join the ranks. Please keep up on this fine service.

  • P.S.---I've never heard of Gilbert Mack. But, as a big fan of the b/w OUTER LIMITS and the original JONNY QUEST, I can tell you for a fact: that was Vic Perrin doing Hawkman's voice as well as the Chief Rockman's.

  • @Carycomic Indeed - for the longest time Mack was miscredited as performing Hawkman. Vic Perrin did the voice and sparkles with it.

  • Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this. I had never heard of the JLA, prior to watching this show as a kid. So, the first JLA comic I saw at a newsstand, with this exact line-up, I promptly bought...for a whopping 27 CENTS (including sales tax)!

P.S.---notice how (just as in his solo cartoons) GL neither shows nor even mentions a weakness towards yellow? Filmation's writers were truly 40 years ahead of their time (compared to DC).

    ;-)
