Among all the AYAOTD episodes, this one is the most memorable to me. Probably because it was the first episode I watched.
BTW, as one who watched a lot of the PBS show Arthur, Kiki sounded familiar. Looking up, turns out her actress, Jodie Resther, would go on to voice Francine.

I think, The dad in this episode did a better job in this episode, Than he did in Tale of the chameleons. Tale of the chameleon's is not one of the best AYAOTD out there. But it is still cool.

Without a oubt,the scariest part of this story was definetly the peoples hair styles.A bald woman?gross.A rastafari dad?Jeeper creepers.That girls" I just got outta electroshock therapy" fro gone bad?Yikes.And the white kids hair?Putting you head into a lawnmower doesnt constitute a haircut.

The girl's hair is pretty and unique...
I hate how everyone is making fun of her hair and telling her to straighten her hair, when really, straight hair is the most BORING thing on earth and its ugly.

@meiranisa2 I wouldn't say straight hair is ugly (I have it, it does get boring but I can change it up if I want), but I like her hair too! It has life and it's different than every other girl on this show.

@meiranisa2 I know what you mean! Everyone is so obsessed with it, and it's really not any better than having curly hair! People think it's so easy to have straight hair, but really there are still problems that people with straight hair have to deal with... straightening your hair is so bad for it anyway, because you always have to use heat or nothing happens.. lol have you seen that sesame street song? Its for african american girls to help boost their self esteem about their hair :) its cute

@meiranisa2 Funny thing is, her hair IS straightened. Her bangs are just all over the place and her sides are sticking out. But that's how black hair was in the 90s you tie it back and let it do it's thing. Even if it is a hot mess. : )
