Thanks so much for putting this up here with the subtitles and pinyin you guys rock! It makes it easy to practice and is really really helpful! Thank you so so much!
I like the video a lot! Very informative! But I wish the song in the background wasn't that loud! I hardly could hear they ordering... could you guys up load more chinese videos for us? With other dayly use...that would be very appreciated! thank you! I look forward to more videos!
Recommend that you remove the background music as it makes it hard to hear the conversation. There is already noise in the restaurant and the two together make it hard to hear the dialogue clearly.
Gd to use video to simulate scenes for learning, thks. However, background music a little too loud - otherwise I could hear the many various words being spoken. Appreciated that you come up with this video to help us to progress in our Mandarin. Cheers !!
Ive been studying chinese for 4 semesters now and I haven't yet build up the courage to order food in chinese haha. So is 我要 not needed when you are ordering? Or would 请给我 work? With that being said I think the video was very good!
@Macman7689 You can choose to use 我要 (I want) or not when ordering. 请给我 (please give me) is the more polite version. You can use either phrase before ordering or not, it's really up to you. In any case, your server should understand what you are trying to say. Thanks for watching!
This is an awesome video! I'm learning Chinese, and this movie has some good examples of how to order different things! Also, what music group do you have playing on the video?
@ChefC42 Thanks! I'm glad you were able to learn some Chinese from our video. Hopefully there will be more people who will do the same! The music is by a Taiwanese American artist from New York named Wang Lee Hom, and the song is called "這就是愛" (zhe4 jiu4shi4 ai4) = "This is Love"
@gloriatu Diao! Hun xie xie! Speaking of Taiwan, I'm going to Taiwan this fall with the Rotary Youth Exchange, so I might be hearing more of Mr. Wang. Also, if you could upload any more videos like this, it would be really cool!
wish the audio was better :(
