Recommend that you remove the background music as it makes it hard to hear the conversation. There is already noise in the restaurant and the two together make it hard to hear the dialogue clearly.

Ive been studying chinese for 4 semesters now and I haven't yet build up the courage to order food in chinese haha. So is 我要 not needed when you are ordering? Or would 请给我 work? With that being said I think the video was very good!

@Macman7689 You can choose to use 我要 (I want) or not when ordering. 请给我 (please give me) is the more polite version. You can use either phrase before ordering or not, it's really up to you. In any case, your server should understand what you are trying to say. Thanks for watching!

@ChefC42 Thanks! I'm glad you were able to learn some Chinese from our video. Hopefully there will be more people who will do the same! The music is by a Taiwanese American artist from New York named Wang Lee Hom, and the song is called "這就是愛" (zhe4 jiu4shi4 ai4) = "This is Love"
