I don't discount the supernatural. But the lip-syncing between Atkins and Manson was because EVERYTHING Charlie said was scripted and rehearsed. Susan Atkins probably heard the same ole bull a thousand times, so she could repeat it (lip sync) it without any problem.

This could be due to the amount of acid they took, leading to near psychic experience, or possibly occult. Dunno what it was but it is something that should not be overlooked, yet aparently has been. I think this is far more interesting than the base murders that took place.
I think your theory is probably correct. Due to the amount of drugs taken by these people, it would not surprise me at all that they ended up "on each other's trip", but for a longer duration than normal. That kind of mind linkage could definitely be traced to LSD.
