when I was 5 years old I remember my bro playing this game... even If I wasn't playing I felt a conection to Cloud. misunderstood, kind of heart, fighting for the weakest, giving his all for his friends, that sense of responsibility he carries. that feeling of not giving a shit for yourself but your all for that which you love (niblehiem, AERIS, his shortlived friendship with Sephiroth). I remember going to detention tons o times for protecting my friends and never regreting the pain nor trouble

I recall my borther helping me out a lot for being so nervous.

But the more I played the lives of these addicitive characters and the music within the persona of it the more I was trully thrilled!

Oh my god i cant stand this anymore! This man Nobuo is a genius in every sence of the word when it comes to his craft. He perfectly captures the soul, atmosphere and mood of every scene he makes music for and that is truly a feat destined to replicated by noone im sure.

Just this song makes me think back to how the party discovered the newly rebuilt Nibelheim while Cloud could vividly recall the scorched down town and the desolation and sadness he felt seeing it. I hear it all, what a great man

The graphics left a lot to be desired. They were small and lacked detail. The PS1 could pump out much better graphics (see FF8). Let's face it folks, most of you who were blown away by this game because this was probably the first FF you were exposed to due to the mainstream success of FF7 and the PS1

@jazzman7889 This was my favorite song on the entire soundtrack, without a doubt. And I totally agree with that you wrote---- overall, the game's soundtrack was not that great, ESPECIALLY when compared to the masterful soundtrack of Final Fantasy VI, but it did have a few standout tracks.

And Sephiroth was a bad villain. I mean sure he was cool, but he never actually did anything bad.  I half expected him to turn good before it was all over (see ff iv) or if you want to see a good example of a villain, check out Kefka in FF6.

This is hands down my favorite track on this game. However, the game sucked. The plot and characters were boring. I totally saw the death of Aeris coming (that plotline was recycled from Phantasy Star). The translation was horrible. I mean did Tifa and cloud get together at the end? I couldn't tell since the translation was so bad.
