I saw this huge meteor while driving toward Edmonton, around 5:30 pm MST Nov. 20. Just like the video I saw it initially as a red bright burning ball streaking down from North to NorthEast. Near the horizon it appeared to break into may small pieces each of them instantly started glowing white hot and the whole thing lit up the area nearly as bright as daylight for a second or two. I braced myself for a bang or explosion upon impact but heard nothing from my distance.

The meteor came from the North and disappeared from sight on the horizon toward the North East, so figured it landed along that line which lines up approx. with Lloydminster on the AB/SK border. However it was very difficult to judge distance because the meteor varied in brightness, and I had no idea how big it was. The fact I heard no sound thought suggested it was hundred of km away. (They found one piece near Lloydminster).
