  • I think under 100 sheets of paper was used for this. It all depends on how long the timing of the movement is. The animation lunchbox I used was at my school CalArts. Why pencil test? It's to see how your animation is coming together, if the timing is right, if your spacing of each drawing is correct, plus to correct any mistakes like a character changing size or shape, etc.

  • You are the man! I see that you use an Animation Lunchbox. Are you using a camera to capture the digital frames or are you using just the Lunchbox and then transferring it later? Thanks - Mike

  • Oh thanks, :D Yeah I captured it in a lunchbox and recorded it onto VHS tape, then captured that digitally. -Ricardo
