I had an oppertunity to have a chat with its composer USTAAD NAZAR HUSSAIN A LIVING legend He told me and my friend JAMAL SIDDIQI that raag DARBAREE is THE BASE of this composition and the way he has open the raag with ALAAP is proper and REAL way of opening DARBARE 03332604292

well. Pronunciation, delivery and pathos-I have fallen in love with this gazal. Lo and behold, I had this gazal all along in "Barge-Nay" with me but after listening to it-I have been hit as if by a thunderbolt. Hariharan-you are superb. You raised the level of gazal singing.
