y can't people just exercise and diet. Bypass has horrible side effects that ur surgeon will never tell you because if he/she did u probably won't do it.Oh by the way you told ur husband coz he's the one paying..tell you what, u gonna b taking injection of vitamin K for the rest of ur life. the reason u fell u can't drop any weight is probably bcoz u've a thyroid problem (hypothyroism) so better treat the underlying cause otherwise 2 years from now u'll be just as big with and unpaid bypass bill

I am very nervous about this as i have received my call about my first apt with my surgeon.. I do however have a question for those who have had this surgery... once you had it how long before you could go back to work? I have an office job.. so not like I do anything but sit at my computer...

I have a few questions don't know if you can answer them but I'm post-op now about a week and I don't feel as I'm losing weight people say I have but when would I start to see the great changes?

I'm having the surgery in 2 weeks and I'm super excited, but scared as well. People keep trying to talk me out of it and it depresses me a bit. They assure me that the lap band is the better way to go, but I just feel led to do it this way. I'm watching your videos now and hoping to be inspired by you to go ahead and move forward with this.

Hi I think your brave and appreciate you shareing your story I initialy found your after cpap vid,.I'm 48 on the waiting list for G.B. and I have sleep apnea. I'm the biggest I've ever been I'm over 300 and I'm scared and frutrated. I have too use a walker and a scooter to get around. You inspire me and its great you've done this at a younge age. i just met my surgeon monday i am so nervous i am waiting for them to call to schedule my psych evaluation and nutrition evaluation and the exercise evaluation. did it go pretty fast they said they could submit it to my insurance for approval i just hope and pray they approve me and that i have the success u have had

I happened across your videos as my sister recently got this surgery and I wanted to learn a bit and I am watching from teh beginning and I'm so impressed with your story, you look beautiful in all your videos, but the one thing I can notice is how sad you are here in the beginning, and you seem more drained.. and what a change!!! I'm not getting this surgery, but I'm still working to lose weight and you give me alot of inspriation!!

I did a liquid diet for 1 week about 3 weeks before surgery. i wanted to last till the surgery but couldn't. The last 2 weeks before surgery I ate like it was the apocolipse. My surgeon did not ask me to do it, i just did to try to shrink my liver. I did go into surgery a bit smaller than 3 weeks before. The week before surgery I was 305 I was 299.6 on the day of surgery and i was excited to not be 300 LOL

No, I was approved and was in surgery pretty fast. My surgeon did not require a diet, he doesn't like people to go into surgery malnurished and hungry

OMG! i gained like 30 lbs the last 2-3 months before surgery too. i just didn't care what i put in my mouth... my goal is to be 140-150 too! LOL. hallelujah diet! WTF is that?
