  • I love your kit! great how to! buy a fucking heat shrink gun. yo drivin me crazy with the lighter.

  • @snow27surf

there is a link to my store in the description . the kit is much better now...

I don't like using heat shrink guns. I usually use a bic, its faster...

  • Excuse me, is it the same for a Kaoss Pad kp-1 ? a friend of mine is selling me one and, i want to ask you , if the kp.1 is a juicy unit too, to manipulate the guitar signal into scratching and fither stuff?

and finally, if i got a ''graphtech'' midi hexpander installed too, i got to wire it with the xy pad and my emg pick ups all together??

please help me from this doubts =(

  • @ASTRUBAL1334

I dont think the kp1 has midi implementation. my kit controls the kp2 and kp3. the kp1 is very outadted the standerd today is the kp3 and most people use the kp3. i hve not instaled a hexpander but i have done the roland midi pickup kit. if you go that rout you iwll have three cables conected to your guitar a 1/4 " jack , the midi cable for my kit to the kp, and the 13 pin din jack for the hexpander.

  • @thygro1

yes, ask some of your local shops if they would be willing to install it. If they need any further information I will help them any way I can.

  • the kit has been upgraded... new PCB , MTA connectors, and the ability to program midi CC# for x and y access to control other midi devices like digitech whammy, logic, ableton Live ...

  • @TwoCherriesIns does any part of the xy pad setup connect to the guitar pickups?

  • @greencatsick

the audio form the pickups and the midi controlled effects are combined in the Kaoss Pad (KP2 or KP3)

  • @TwoCherriesIns so can you plug the KP2 or 3 into a guitar amp and they combine in the amp?

  • @greencatsick

yes, you plug the midi controller and the guitar into the kaoss pad and the line out of the kaoss pad into your amp.

  • @TwoCherriesIns thanks! it all makes sense now!

  • would this work with a mini-kp?

  • @TheDrummer871

I don't think the mini KP has a midi line in!

  • so just a few questions before i fork out nearly 150 quid... :)

    1) how does this work then? are there already presets on this?

    2) if so was this taken from an actual kaoss pad?

    3) is the site to be trusted to buy from?

and how would you set it up from sfter your video? :) sorry bout the questions

  • @Slipknot09freak

there are presets for the kp2 and kp3.

this is a midi controller it sends midi signals to the kp2 or kp3.

I have sold many kits, my seller rating is available at the estore.

you will have to modify your guitar substantially. if you are not confident in doing it there are local shops that will do it for you.

  • The background music was a really bad idea !!

  • @hfhik

if there is none then someone will say to add it, if it is there someone else will say its not good. If you just don't like the music than i ask, how do i put in background music that everyone likes?

  • @TwoCherriesIns - yeah, U got a point there man!

  • @TwoCherriesIns - yeah, U got a point there man! And thank you for this video ! it relly helped me alot :D

  • do you ship to canada?

  • @guitarforlif yes

  • Nevermind that question. I just realized there is no midi output on the rp350.

  • @cashforchaos I will do customization of the kit for other midi devices.

  • @TwoCherriesIns I was wondering if this configuration would work to control the midi function of a Roland gr-55. Seeing as it is a midi controller. would it differ?

  • I'm most likely going to buy one and I only have one question: Can you use this controller for other midi devices besides a kaoss pad and digitech whammy? I have a digitech rp350 and want to know if it would be compatible

  • Does the kit come with written instructions and diagrams to refer back to

  • @BenRallies the instructions are all in this video and additional info is available at my site

    wix.com/twocherriesins/home

  • hey , im really bad at soldering and electronics in general , is there some way i can buy the kit pre - made so its ready to fit straight into my guitar ?

  • @simonkickst

I'm working on something ill post a new video when its done

  • Could I fit this onto a tone-chambered strat? It looks like the forearm contour would get in the way.

  • @TVRobot1 My kit can be configured with any size 5 volt resistive touch screen, I'm sure there its a size that would fit...

  • @TwoCherriesIns

    Alright, cool beans. Thanks.

  • I want one of those, where I can buy one?

  • @ramon241094

    my store is at twocherriesinstruments.ecrater.com

I'm out of screens right now back in stock next week...

  • can you do a video on how to install the screen into the guitar

  • @saadat1ariel yes, I'm working on it...

  • great video, makes it nice and clear.
