  • ok, this is fuckin awesome, but it sucks that the girl dies, she was hot, plus, they don't have english accents, other than that its sweet!!!!!!

  • wonderfull

  • This is amazing. You are very talented! <3

  • owoo the direction is cool!!! the acting though needs some improvment !!!!!

  • Brilliant... Just a few things: Make sure that you act it out a bit better. Add more Sound effects, Visual effects, make stuff break, crack and explode like in the movies.

  • @KodyKurth i know ur mom and she reccomended these vids. all i can say is...AMAZING!!!

  • INCREDIBLE

  • Oh! I love you guys!! It was amazing!

  • BLESS YOUR COW!!

whoa! why they dont try to make a movie about Dumbledore's life? great job guys! your camera skills, great! :)

  • AMAZING! ... great job guys.

  • Your special effects are outstanding for the low budget and such. Also your camera skills were very good. Your acting could use some work, but generally it was okay. Keep up the good work.

  • this is amazing

  • brilliant nuff said!

  • @frasert147 She's not a squib. Ariana's unable to control her powers and was driven insane when she was attacked by muggle boys at the age of six. When she was 14, she caused a magical explosion that resulted in her mother's death.

  • has ANYONE remembered ARIANA is a SQUIB!!!

  • This is brill. How did you make that first intro on Blender 3D, I'm struggling with that.

  • wow i'm really impressed this is really good! :)

thanks for making it, i'm sure it was hard!

your film making skills make me want to do more film making too!

  • 08:11 to 08:19 = RAGE QUIT!

  • Well done

  • this. was. O R G A S M I C.

  • Yes, in 1896 (and later), they had cars and jeans... :DD

  • AMAZING!!!

  • nice, you totally nailed the effects from the HP films...great software! lol=P

  • @cayenechilli Thanks! I did all of the effects myself, with working advice from the whole team to get the continuous look we wanted. The only programs we used to make this film are as follows:

    Final Cut Express 4.0 (Editing/Mixing/VFX/SFX/Color Correction/Exporting/Finalizing)

    iMovie (Importing and Exporting)

    Adobe Photoshop Elements (VFX)

    Blender 3D (VFX - 3D Intros & Text)

Thanks for the kind comment! We appreciate every word, we worked hard to get this project done.

  • @KodyKurth thanks for sharing...wow, that's a lotta programs lol=P

    nice work=)

  • @KodyKurth

dude, i liked your vid, but how did you get all the wands?

  • @SuperSonic1085 Most of them were created by myself with small/thin wooden dowels covered in modeling clay which then dried, and then painted. 1 wand was purchased at the Warner Bros. Tour store in Hollywood, CA, in 2009. Another was purchased at a mall, specifically unsure what store/brand (From Eli Trippet), and the last one from another member of the crew (MatthPeder).

  • why are there cars if its about 1900?

  • @jedikiller52 Because it was 2011 when we shot this, and we don't have the authority or capabilities of controlling a frequently used road with traffic. Believe it or not, our budget for this movie was about $7.00. And we used that to buy clay to create wand props. At the moment I didn't have the tools to digitally erase the cars out either.

  • Amazing intro!!!

  • Woahhh guys seriously?! You made this? The camera skills are so proffesional and also you acting. Thumbs up

  • @singingrabbit123 Thanks!

  • wow. very nice :)

  • that was great! Just one thing. If you say 10 years later, perhaps you should take different actors. Adults. That would make it more realistic. But it was awesome.

And why is grindelwald crying over ariana's death? Just asking

  • @SuperXD25 He is crying because he has never killed anyone before, and now he has finally crossed the line of dark magic, separating him and Albus as friends. His dreams have been crushed.

  • @KodyKurth okey. That was some great acting. All of it. Loved it!

  • @SuperXD25 Thanks so much, we worked very hard to get it done.

  • @KodyKurth You should do more of these if you can.

  • Waouh ! Incroyable !

  • what movie was the music at 9:04 come from? I love that song

  • this is mad cool. you should deffanatly do more harry potter stuff like this. very impressive.

  • u guys did A VERY GOOD JOB u should have more views

  • Great effects. kinda bad acting though..

  • This was just incredible. :) Please do more Harry Potter side stories, like this. :D By the way, which program did you use to edit? Final Cut or? :)

  • @ahhhhhbobba1234 Final Cut Express & Photoshop Elements

  • AMAZING MOVIE AMAZING AN EXTREMLY GOOD JOB U GUYS DID MAKE MORE

  • really great

  • Great video! Favourite part was the duel at the end. Not to be a troll or anything, but did you notice how the Elder Wand switched from Grindelwald's left hand to his right hand?

  • @NoobTwinz5 Yes, I did realize that, shortly after editing I noticed the continuity mistake. My bad. :) Thanks for enjoying the video and adding your input, I appreciate every word.

    -Kody

  • Ike and E - Loved it guys! To whoever did the editing, the moving person in the picture was a nice touch :)

    -Emily

  • this is really impressive! i'm inspired! great work!

i'm a film person myself, and a harry potter freak, too. and sometimes i think that my work isn't all too impressing. but it just shows i gotta work harder at what i want! haha :) and there's one thing i've learned too...

keep doing what you're doing, keep posting videos, it's the only way you'll get better: experience.

and hey you never know who'll see it! ;)

  • @caitdev1 Thanks! I really appreciate it!

  • Nice job with! :D

Think about the 180 degree rule though ;)

    Awsome job,

    Jarand

  • not to be a troll but just for future reference at like 4;50 albus's brother had his wand back after it was thrown away from the spell :)

  • @TheRandomstupidguy Yes, I could see how you would catch that. It's a bit quick, being a semi-action sequence; when Aberforth's wand flew from his hand it hit the wall behind him, bouncing off and landing on the floor next to him. He grabbed the wand quickly and pointed it at Gellert Grindelwald to protect himself.

    Thanks for the comment :)

    -Kody

  • @KodyKurth clever.. clever...

  • very cool you guys

  • That was amazing! I love the whole story. I love how you played out Ariana's death and then the guilt he felt from killing her. Amazing work! :)

  • this is crazy awesome man

  • This is amazing. An incredible achievement for you, young sir.
