  • I think Kaku quantum banged her.

  • to the people who says the girl is dumb, try talking with Dr.Kaku and you will look like a monkey talking to a human

  • when michio kaku is wowed by his own thoughts. look out lol.

  • The CIA would crack codes?! No way...

  • 1:37

That lady tried to top off Michio's Kaku Hat but ended up just confirming every adjacent theory that proposed that she was dumb like a fucking door.

  • this KAKU guy is lying to humanity, Let's not forget he believe in the NWO like a good thing for humanity..

  • she is the dumbest girl ever seeing in my life

  • 3:34 WTF dude! :D :D

  • you can tell kaku got some that night.

  • kaku's totally chopping her

  • I would be interested to know what Dr. Kiki obtained her PHD in....I`m afraid to say she appeared pretty vacant, and all the hero worship of Kaku that I see associated with videos like this are frankly embarrassing.

  • The best scientist is the one that can lecture the laity, and turn around without any confused faces or minds behind him.

    Or her.

  • Not only is he a physicist, he's Asian. Stephen Hawking would appear to be a simpleton around him, lol.

  • @RADIOACTIVEBUNY Wrong.

  • Dear YouTube,

I am a professional quantum physicist and this is, by far, the WORST explanation I've heard for Bose-Einstein Condensation. Kaku is throwing a lot of irrelevant anecdotes about unrelated areas at you instead of a discussion of BECs.

Briefly, a BEC is a state of matter that is distinct from solid, liquid, or gas. Certain kinds of atoms, when subjected to the proper environmental conditions, will find themselves "condensing" to a single entangled quantum state. Me > Kaku :-)

  • @10Kernel01 Kaku's explenation is for simple and dumb people like us :). the important thing is that he didn't say anything wrong, just superficial, right?

  • @10Kernel01 you aint shit son

  • @Azuresong @matthewclark757 Kernel is actually correct. It's just that his expectations of an explanation is much higher than that of others. The explanation in the video is superficial but it is not incorrect.

  • Comment removed

  • @10Kernel01 bro seriously then if you make a video about it and put it up here properly explained then tell me and i'll come watch it. untill then let Kaku use his incredible gift of baffling uneducated people like myself with things none of us other than you understand

  • @10Kernel01 I agree. His explanation is not wrong, only superficial. However, he sidetracks a lot.

  • She blinded me with science!!

  • she is fucking annoying!

  • The woman has an incredibly annoying personality.

  • an interveiwer must ask questions they might already know to make them represent the dumbest person that might be viewing therefore becoming comprehensive to them and every viewer above them in intellect.

  • "we'll have to switch to quantum computers..." Na-ah! :-) IBM Is developing 100 GHz graphene-based microprocessors. ;-)

  • Theres Lots i want her to pop. a couple at me :)

  • Silicon power will disapear? So the earth will no longer contain silicon? Can't we just stop making computers stronger? Do you know how tiered I am of my computer constantly expecting me to allow it to update and suck and drain the energy of my computer, draining more cpu and so forth?

  • @themantien Bachelor degree. (Throws in the towel)

  • We really don't know what this stuff is (light, etc), we just label concepts and build models to help us do things with the stuff we do know, for all we know, our models are no different to reality than what Newtons was, ours just works better in more cases.

  • oh my god!!! Michio KNOW very well ABSOLUTE ZERO Can't be !!! shut up !!! let him talk.! damn

  • @frankbass3 :) exactly!

  • Coherent radiation. YEAAAAAA. (wtf did he just say?)

  • @themantien wish i had the ailment she specializes in! "..just show me where it hurts..." ;-)

  • I am rethinking majoring in computer science :p

  • @nickrohn93 Computer science will always be with us, it's a market that will always exist, no matter if we are using atoms or whatever, don't be stupid, take computer science.

  • @themantien self esteem? to be honest, i know nothing about her. accept that she appears very slutty.

  • LADY: "Yea, yea that's very interesting" - What the fuck is he talking about?!? :S

  • what the fuck is light made of?

And please dont just say nothing or energy.

  • @Omatollis neurons, literally packets of light, very hard to explain. They act as individual particles as well as waves.

  • @Omatollis Light is an electromagnetic wave, that's why movement changes color of objects, because the wave is perceived distorted, more blue tinted when it's coming towards you and more red when it's moving away from you, light is made of photons, photons travel in a straight line, they bounce off anything, that's why there is reflection, that's why there is occlusion.

  • @Omatollis Light is an electromagnetic wave, which essentialy means that a electric field and a magnetic field (perpendicular to each other) sustain each other and propagate through space without the need of a matter particle or a matter medium. Unfortunately for you, it comes down to nothing (since it has no mass) or, conversely, to pure energy (since it doesnt need a material medium), which are the answers you did not want.

  • @bluewhale18 yeah it could be. I might have over reacted.

  • lol @ butthurt men

    u mad

  • There is more to computers then just the speed of the processor, at least for consumers. I mean Netbooks and Tablets actually went backwards in terms of computing power and people still bought them in mass.

Making processors cheaper by improving manufacturing means more processors in more things, smarter appliances, etc.

  • she needs to learn to stfu

  • @sg100000000 Would've agreed if she wasn't intelligent and cute.

  • women are always such gobshites

  • Bose-Einstein condensation was discovered by Bose a guy from India who is nobody. He sent his papers to Einstein and the Scientific department and Einstein immediately identified the potential in this theory. Since nobody knew Bose, Einstein attached his and Bose's name to the theory so that it can get popular (Einstein was very popular by then). When Einstein himself was so noble in doing that, I wonder why Dr. Michio did not even mention his name. I see he just mentioned Einstein's name.

  • @mravuri because then he'd have to take another 2 minutes going off on a tangent explaining who the hell Bose was

  • @mravuri i agree i, it pisses me off sometimes , Bose did all the job , this theory should be called Bose condensation ! , Einstein just add his name to it cos Bose wasn't famous ( he wasn't even a phd ) but still , he did all the work !

  • @mravuri It's because einstein exteneded Bose's theory of photons to atoms

and it's atoms that Michio is talking about

  • what a bunch of chauvinistic fucks you all are.

i hope Kaku never takes a look at these videos and sees how patheticly immature so much of his fanbase is.

may all your dicks rot and fall off.

  • @Tartersauce101 I know I'm being immature, but I couldn't help a short bark of laughter to find the word "dicks" in some Kaku physics-related video somewhere. Talk about Uncertainty Principle. I'm glad I observed it and is now real to me, because it's funny for no reason.

  • why did 6 people dislike it?

  • @sinachiniforoush

Well, they did not understand, i guess...

  • i think Michio Kaku was like"just shut up u old hag and let me finish this"

  • my hand is a dolfin

  • @Joeyblannn

Get down on friday, yeah, yeah, everybody's russian.

  • Everybody knows that c=2/47(68) / 5-manifold theshold condensate * 10.567 32d parabola

  • @themantien Amen! I was just about to post "what's with all the haters?" on these sites. I would be really disturbed if I were to find out that the people making these outrageous posts about the lovely host only had the equivalent of Calc II and an Introductory Physics course under their belt and still felt themselves on Michio's level. Rock on themantien!

  • @CakesnakeFilms OR...it could be called being humble and civilized. She is qualified enough to entertain a thoughtful discussion with Michio Kaku rather making posts on YouTube like the rest of us botched and bungled cats. So I would logoff the YouTube and get back to working on your Nobel Prize in Physics - let us all know how that goes. (I have no doubt that the great Michio Kaku would agree with me --- he is too decent a guy to condone this meanness.)

  • @OpieJohansen how is she being humble, she says stupid things and has to be corrected (like when she had to be told the 3rd law of thermodynamics).

  • @themantien A high school diploma... got a problem with that?....

  • what a dummy she is....shes not even listening cause shes so lost after like 3:15...then from 3:21 to like 3:24 shes sitting there trying to think of what to say and it comes out "...tha...that'll be....great if we could solve that problem and continue in our computing power.."...WTF??!!

  • @CakesnakeFilms yea no kidding...it's obvious when she is sooo lost on what Kaku is saying, right around 3:11 on.....

  • @themantien haha yeah dr kiki im like hmmz im sure she does know what she is talking about ... she seems to know what she is talking about... she just has a horrible idea of what is funny and she is super awkward

  • but i dont want to cool my computer down to (near) absolute 0 to send an e-mail

  • ohh common stop bashing the lady...anyone may appear dumb in front of Kaku...

  • @amiyaiitkgp well said

  • @huntbug1 To be clear she has a PhD in neurophysiology and also hosts many science shows. As her field of research is not exactly physics it is quite natural that she appears little intimidated by Dr Kaku.

  • she is so dumb

    kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • absolutely fascinating

  • she is so freaking hot!

  • @CakesnakeFilms I think I missed that part of the interview. What I did see was her correct Kaku's overstatement of reaching abs zero in an inquisitive, non confrontational manor.

Apparently his smartest guy in the room bluff fooled 107 pea brains.

  • ATOMIC LASERS IN THE FUTURE !!!!!! MWUAHAHAHA! 1:49

  • @CakesnakeFilms LOLL SO TRUE !

  • She is a PHD, not there because of affirmative action. LIsten again, she has offered a lot more feedback then ummm and yep. Listen with NON-stop eye contact. You're an idiot. She's his equal. Michio is obviously being interviewed because of his expertise not hers. They didn't ask you to do this interview, did they? Affirmative action? This is a you tube, not a government appointed position. You made three emphatic points and proved your IQ is rivaled by coleslaw in all three of them.

  • What's the IQ difference between these two?

    Over 9000!!!!

  • Dr. Kaku should use his laser eyes to teach this chick some respect!

  • 1:37 STUPID OWNED.

  • @LaSalviaBodysurf I could be misunderstanding you but Kaku says "Near absolute zero" and then she reaffirms this statement by saying "We're still not to absolute zero". I don't really see any ownage there.

  • @CakesnakeFilms She's a scientist. lol Who are you exactly?

  • @xxxRyanxEdgexxx a soon to be scientist, but i can tell when someone deosn't know what they are talking about, even if i don't know it myself.

  • @CakesnakeFilms So her resume beats yours by about 10 fold at this point. If you'd kindly STFU. She's a PHD in her field, and the host of 3+ science shows. You're a "soon to be scientist", so your opinion doesn't even matter.

  • @xxxRyanxEdgexxx does your opinion matter?, i never said that she wasn't an expert in her field, but that she didn't know what she was on about in this one. if you'd kindly stop being so stupid, or else fuck off.

  • You barely know what you are doing, and you barely know what is going on, but that's ok, because Mother Nature and Father Time are taking care of you.

  • I don' t understand why you guys are bashing her.. She's earned her Ph.D from UC Davis in Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Physiology, so she's obviously done more than most of you.. She's just not an expert in this subject, but she is an expert in her area of study.. Both of these people know much more than all of you.. Give her credit, don't take away from her hard work..

  • @Mike0071 People are bashing her because she is an awful interviewer. She's rude and doesn't even pay attention, she just says "right" and "yup" at appropriate moments. At the end you can clearly see her disengage from the interview to look for her next question, and when Kaku finishes she scrambles to pretend like she was listening. Even if she is an expert (she still isn't anywhere near Kaku) she should at least show some respect.

  • So, beam me up Scotty, will more likely be: Freeze mah ass Scotty and beam me over.

  • Wait if the particles (at B-E condensate form) dont know where they are or in other words they are in many places, It looks as thou the particles are not in time, they are streched (like in the movies a ghost trails of you a second or several ago).

Thumbs up so people could see this thought!

  • I'd still hit it.

  • @godtripp I don't know he is getting kinda old.

  • @dsac6007 haha =P experience!

  • In German, Bose means evil. This is the Evil-Einstein condensate. ;)

  • WTF have none of you been with a woman in normal conversation before? Oh, wait, it's youtube I should expect sexism.

  • What a dumb woman that is. I don't care if she has a PHD. She sounds dumb, her comments are dumb, her laugh is dumb and she doesn't show professionalism, nor passion towards her study. There are people with a PHD and are just plain stupid in life, and there are people with a PHD and are just genius in life.

  • Ah... michio never ceases to amaze me :P I never realised the significance of quantum computing before...

  • i bet the 6 dislikes were only because of the annoying lady. Rebecca Black would have made a less annoying video

  • Its amazing just how god damn much this man knows :O seriously.

And he is cool to listen to. Almost like Carl Sagan. Amazing how some people can make stuff cool to listen to. and even easier to understand.

  • Quit hatin'. Kiki is cool.

  • that bitch ruins the entire video i swear.

  • so... You could freeze animals so much, then move them to some where else in a wave super fast, then unfreeze them?

  • im excited w/ the quantum teleportation though :)

  • this guy said, that it's possible to make a lightsaber, wich components costs just few hunert bucks.

watch The Science of Games on gametrailers

  • i just love that there exists a doctor named Kiki.

  • In year 3000 we'll be cleansing the galaxy of aliens with atom beams, MUAHAHAHA! EXTERMINATE!

  • i can tell the host has no idea what he is talking about at the end XD

  • i want to ask ... it may sound stupid .. but i really want to know .. if there is absolute zero .. is there an absolute high temperature ? and if there was .. what would be like ?.. hope to get a clear answer .. thanks

  • @Zombiezdeath

Well, yeah there is I guess, but there'd have to be a high amount of gravity to contain the matter, vibrating at light speed. What state it's in we don't know, and will probably never know, cause it can only exist inside black holes.

  • these questions are so far fetched, i cant imagine how much time questions like that can be formulated. yet this genius here has an answer like that. amazing.

  • (conyinued)You're on the right track, but in this state no heat could go in or out, and the substance wouldn't cool any more. Bottom line, we can get close to absolute zero, just like we can get close to a perfect vaccum and a frictionless surfice and an immovable object.

  • @SpincterManBubba, absolust zero cannot exist anywhere. Think about it like this, you need to use something made of matter to remove heat. There comes a point, however, where the very heat of the tool you are using to remove the heat heats up the material. Even observing something at this impossibly close temperature would heat it up, as seeing something requires photons to bounce off (and some are absorbed) the substance. You ask, what if we keep it in a dark frictionless and weightles vaccum?

  • How far from the sun would you have to travel to find absolute zero in space or is it not possible even in space? Let's assume it is a distance just outside our solar system solely for conversation. If that be the case then the space probes we sent several years ago that are now far outside our solar system could have turned into just a wave? Possible, yes or no?

  • Comment removed

  • 3 people failed science classes throughout their entire lives.

  • Dr. Kaku is so misleading!!! He uses analogies so carelessly, doesn't say what is an analogy and what isn't, and where does the analogy begin or end. Plus, e loves using flashy terms that mean nothing, convolute the issue at hand.. What's a super atom? does it fly? is it vulnerable to kryptonite? Dr. Kaku, your irresponsible explanations are a dis-service to science! (another egregious example is calling the Higgs Boson the god particle. That's nonsense, but effective for attention-whores)

  • Dr Kiki can teach me the big bang any time

  • him: "Who can cool something to absolute zero?" her (nodding in complete agreement) "Right!" him: "Today we do it all the time!"

    Doh.

  • I am so sick of seeing this same physicist everywhere. isnt there another physicist that knows stuff?

  • @User5973 U have Stephen Hawking but as u may imagine he would have difficulties with TV and interviews

  • Wow. She just sits there with her head tilted, smiling and laughing. It's so obvious it's painful.

Michio Kaku gets all the ladies. Brofist, my man!

  • IM annoyed by how many people keep saying that this woman is stupid, to any degree. she has a PHd in physiology (amongst accomplishments in other prestigious educational fields).she is not a quantum theorist and just because she is mildly attractive, every persons (exageration, of course) on this board thinks directly from their penis, to which they throw pointless insults and sexist jokes at her. anyone involved in such acts is nothing short of a hypocrite- for doing so is illogical and vain.

  • she wants to bone Dr. Michio....shes sitting on a puddle of lubricating material

  • the girls like "what the fuck ru talking about:"

  • shut up that girl with such a dumb laughing...so annoying

  • silicon valley would be a rustbelt... woudnt it be a sandbelt (SiO2)?

  • michio kaku is a low level illuminati.. he supports the new world order and believes the western way of life is the only way of life and if you dont support it, you're a terrorist.. those are his words. not mine... research this guy.. he sounds extremely intelligent, and he is, but he does not do work to benefit the average person.. he works to benefit the same corporations that force america into debt and competition..

  • Whats up with all the negative comments?

  • this women is retarded

  • @CakesnakeFilms It takes stupid people to know stupid people.

  • Comment removed

  • He stemmed it up in two words "coherent radiation".

  • @GateMessenger coherent radiation.... !!! ????? phaser like weapons similar to the ones portrayed in startrek hhmmmm

  • @ratrat29 No, relating to or composed of waves having a constant difference in phase.

  • @ratrat29 I really meant it thinks for itself, self aware, logically or aesthetically ordered or integrated.

  • Michio looks like my grandma

  • When Michio wants your opinion Dr Kiki, he'll give it to you.

  • anyone know where i can find a video on absolute hot? i keep getting porn in the search results.

  • @gatoradeee there is no theoretical limit on how hot an object gets as heat is really the movement of atoms.

  • @gatoradeee just google Planck temperature

  • i found a picture collection of her naked and with clothes on, its really her because they show her with clothes on then with clothes off and sperm on her titties too

  • Oh and somebody throw that bitch down a well or burn her alive.

  • Faster frequency's would do the trick until we get quantum computers, I'm rocking an i5 750 at 4.2ghz.

  • @MrMuffincow Sandy Bridge, all I'm sayin'

  • the lady acting like a smartass

  • that woman is an smart mouth bitch, let the master do the talk and you shut the fuck up!!!

  • genius at 3:54

  • Press play then pause then play, now press 5, Michio is an atomic lazers you say?

  • why can't we just accept "slow" computers? I mean, we got to the moon with computers that were laughably frail next to my pocket calculator. What the hell do I need a quantum computer for?

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken2 because we'll run out of silicon eventually and that will be the end of this type of computer age and as well we should progress because it would benefit humanity in so many ways and people would live longer & less people would die, exc.

  • @deanmullen10 There is silicon in fucking sand. The issue is NOT running out of silicon. The issue is that electronic computers are limited by the size of their constituent atoms, so they have to make computers out of something new to continue to make them smaller and faster. I really do not see why that is necessary. Every person and his grandma does not need a laptop to make them happy. My computer is already faster than I could ever have need for.

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken2 yeah, U are sooo right about that, why would a redneck like u need a faster computer? Why don't u just go burn a dvd or something on ur tooo fast computer

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken2 Until graphics improve and your currently great computer will blue screen within a few seconds of trying to run it.

I remember when win95 was big and I thought "It only takes a few minutes to turn on my computer" and that was considered really fast. Most people didn't think there was any need for more; then you see what we've got going on now!

The main problem is we can't imagine what's really coming until it's here for the most part.

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken2 As our knowledge increases will need faster ways to process stuff. Faster computers more efficient and quicker research. which would be helpful since science always struggle with funding. Better results, faster results, more progress is less time.

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken2 What would you need a quantum computer for? With a quantum computer we could simulate the human brain and basically create (or rather copy) a new truly conscious and intelligent person! Or computer... or whatever haha. So what could we do with this guy? Well, we could speed up the simulation! So we could have this guy think about all our problems and solutions for like 1 million years in say 10 real life years? Wouldn't that be great!? Sucks for him but who the fuck cares :D

  • oh mercy...this guy (like most 'celebrity scientists') doesn't have the slightest idea about what he is talking about...B-E C is about zero viscosity. His reference to lasers is something- I think he is referencing the fact that to achieve 1.73l K requires laser cooling (as well as magnetic cooling). I spose I'm wrong though, I hope he's dumbing it down for a layman audience - i just wish he spoke about zero-viscosity mercury in a donut!

  • @hdmccart Your mom is a 'celebrity scientistS'.

  • @Minatominase She is! She'll love to hear that you admire her work! Thanks friend!

  • she thinks she knows more than him. silly cow.

  • @1spiders1 I don't think she presumes to know more then him at all. I think she's very star struck and quite nervous interviewing a man like Michio. I would be too. I think she kept it together very well, and did a wonderful job keeping Michio in layman's terms for those of us that don't have god like intelligence. If I were given the chance to have a one on one with Michio I'm pretty sure if I didn't pass out, I would be rendered a blithering idiot, capable only of responding in simple uh-huh's

  • @apostle3 ii didn't like the zero comment of hers as if he doesn't know that. may be she did do a fair job. shed do a much better one in the kitchen :)

  • fuck u antiwomen mastaubators! keep thinkin and talkin like that and yr hand is all you'll ever keep gettin, sad lonely shutins, reeking of stale cum and shitty porn lol.

and if it wasnt for software bloat, our puters would be smokin. like u wankers palms.

  • the girl can definitely match wits with dr Quantum....she's cute AND intelligient

  • That was one of the best lectures I've ever heard; Michio, your awesome!

  • Can you tell me is their anyone out there who is smarter then this guy.ok..ok the wife maybe but besides her.......must go its dinner quantum time.....

  • If I was this girl I would:

    1. Not speak at all to Dr. Kaku - especially with little throw ins like "yep" and "mhmm"

    2. Listen with nonstop eye contact

    3. Realize I am probably there because of affirmative action and have no place to suggest anything to Dr. Kaku.

  • @MrMillsms That means you like to have someone else to think for you. Congratulations!

  • @MrMillsms She's a doctor of neurophysiology. What do you hold a doctorate in again?
